«Երեկ Երևանում կայացել է Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության Միջկառավարական խորհրդի նիստը, որին մասնակցել են ԵՏՄ անդամ երկրների վարչապետները, այդ թվում` ՌԴ վարչապետ Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևը: Նիստը կայացել է սովորականի նման, առանց որևէ արտառոց միջադեպի, հայտարարության, բոյկոտի: Նիստի ընթացքում հնչել են բազմաթիվ հայտարարություններ ԵՏՄ-ի կարևորության, այդ կառույցն ամրապնդելու անհրաժեշտության և այլ անիմաստ երևույթների մասին:

Ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմը ցույց տվեց, որ ԵՏՄ-ն Հայաստանի համար իրականում թշնամական կառույց է:

Ոչ միայն այն պատճառով, որ այդ կառույցի անդամ երկրների մեծամասնությունն Ադրբեջանի ռազմավարական գործընկերն է, այլ՝ որովհետև այդ կառույցում մեր ռազմավարական գործընկերը միջոցների մեջ խտրություն չի դնում Ադրբեջանին ԵՏՄ անդամ դարձնելու համար:
Ապրիլյան պատերազմը ցույց տվեց, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը Ռուսաստանի համար Ադրբեջանին ԵՏՄ ներքաշելու շուրջ առևտրի սակարկության առարկա է, որին ռմբակոծելու համար Ռուսաստանը նաև ծանր սպառազինություն է վաճառում այդ երկրին: Երեկ Երևանում կայացավ այն կառույցի վարչապետների նիստը, որին անդամակցելու համար նաև տեղի ունեցավ ապրիլյան պատերազմը, որի պատճառով զոհվեցին հարյուրից ավելի հայ զինվորներ: Նրանք զոհվել են ընդամենը մեկ ամիս առաջ` այն պատերազմի ժամանակ, որի պատճառով ԵՏՄ ղեկավարները բոյկոտեցին Երևանը` Բաքվին չնեղացնելու համար:
