Չիլիի Պատգամավորների պալատի կողմից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության դեմ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիան դատապարտող բանաձևի ընդունումը մեծ գնահատանքի է արժանի: Դա խիզախ ու ժողովրդավարական արժեքներով տոգորված քայլ է: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նման կարծիք հայտնեց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: «Մեծ գնահատանքի է արժանի Չիլիի խորհրդարանի ստորին պալատի կողմից այս բանաձեւի ընդունումը: Խիզախ և ժողովրդավարական արժեքներով տոգորված քայլ: Հատկանշական է, որ Արցախի ժողովրդի ազատության պայքարն ըմբռնում է գտնում օվկիանոսից այն կողմ: Նման դիրքորոշումը պետք է վարակիչ լինի, եւ անհանդուրժողականություն պետք է ցուցաբերվի Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիայի նկատմամբ: Չիլին ապացուցեց, որ իրերը կարելի է կոչել իրենց անուններով: Դա է միակ ընդունելի ուղին»,- ասաց Շարմազանովը:
Չիլիի պատգամավորների պալատը մայիսի 19-ին հատուկ բանաձևով դատապարտել է Արցախի դեմ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիան: Բանաձևի տեքստում մասնավորապես ասվում է. «Ապրիլի 1-2-ի գիշերը Ադրբեջանի օդային և ցամաքային ուժերը լայնամասշտաբ հարձակում իրականացրին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության հետ սահմանագծում` ծանր հրետանու և վերջին սերնդի հրթիռների կիրառմամբ: Վերոնշյալ ագրեսիան 1994 թվականին կնքված զինադադարի, ինչպես նաև վեճերի խաղաղ լուծման վերաբերյալ ՄԱԿ-ի նորմերի ամենակոպիտ խախտումն է: Բռնության այս նոր սրման կապակցությամբ, որր հանգեցրել է քաղաքացիական և զինվորական մեծ կորուստների, Պատգամավորների պալատը դատապարտում է այս ագրեսիան, կոչ անում ռազմական գործողությունների դադարեցման և խաղաղ բանակցությունների շարունակության` ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության շրջանակներում, որի համանախագահներն են ԱՄՆ-ն, Ռուսաստանը և Ֆրանսիան: Միջազգային հանրությունը և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունը համարում են, որ հակամարտությունը, որն արդեն ավելի քան երկու տասնամյակ շարունակվում է, պետք է լուծվի միայն խաղաղ ճանապարհով, ինչպես նաև միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերի և ժողովուրդների ինքնորոշման իրավունքի հարգման միջոցով: Կոչ է անում Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետությանը վերահաստատել խաղաղության իր հանձնառությունը, անմիջապես դադարեցնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նկատմամբ պատերազմական գործողությունները և խստորեն պահպանել 1994 թվականին կողմերի միջև ձեռք բերված զինադադարը: Կոչ է անում Չիլիի կառավարությանը կողմերին հորդորել հավատարիմ մնալ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության ձևաչափում ընթացող բանակցություններին և այդպիսով խուսափել տարածաշրջանում անդառնալի հետևանքների հանգեցնող պատերազմի բռնկումից»:
