Աշխատանքային այցով Աթենքում գտնվող ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ, Հայաստան-Հունաստան պատգամավորական բարեկամության խմբի ղեկավար Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը մայիսի 20-ին հանդիպում է ունեցել Հունաստանի Հանրապետության խորհրդարանի առաջին փոխխոսնակ Անաստասիոս Կուրակիսի, Հունաստան-Հայաստան բարեկամության խմբի ղեկավար Էլենի Ստամատակիի եւ խմբի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Անտոնիս Բալոմենակիսի հետ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Երկուստեք գոհունակությամբ արձանագրվել է, որ երկկողմ հարաբերությունները դինամիկ են զարգանում, կարեւորվել է միջխորհրդարանական կապերի հետագա ամրապնդման ու զարգացման, պատգամավորական բարեկամության խմբերի ակտիվ գործունեության, ինչպես նաեւ միջազգային խորհրդարանական հարթակներում միմյանց սատարելու անհրաժեշտությունը: Զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են նաեւ Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում տեղի ունեցող վերջին իրադարձություններին:

ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը հույն գործընկերներին տեղեկացրել է, որ մայիսի 19-ին ԼՂՀ Ազգային ժողովի խմբակցությունները հանդես են եկել համատեղ հայտարարությամբ, որով դատապարտել են Օսմանյան կայսրությունում հույների հանդեպ իրականացված ցեղասպանությունը: Նա նշել է, որ այսպիսով ԼՂՀ-ն դարձել է Պոնտոսի հույների ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչած հինգերորդ երկիրը:

Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն իր գոհունակությունն է հայտնել առ այն, որ հույն պատգամավորներն անցյալ ամիս այցելել են Արցախ եւ Եռաբլուր պանթեոն:

«Ձեր այցը Եռաբլուր, որտեղ հարգանքի տուրք մատուցեցիք ապրիլի սկզբին Ադրբեջանի կողմից սանձազերծված ռազմական ագրեսիայի զոհերի հիշատակին, ցույց տվեց, որ հանդիսանում եք համերաշխության իրական ջատագով»,- նշել է ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն ընդգծել է, որ ԼՂ հակամարտությունը պետք է հանգուցալուծվի բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով, եւ ոչ ոք չի կարող լռեցնել Արցախի ժողովրդի ազատության ձայնը:

Հույն խորհրդարանականներն իրենց հերթին նշել են, որ Հունաստանը սատարում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ջանքերը` ուղղված ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորմանը:

Անաստասիոս Կուրակիսը կարեւորել է ցեղասպանությունների, մասնավորապես Պոնտոսի հույների եւ հայերի ցեղասպանության դատապարտման անհրաժեշտությունը:

Հույն պատգամավորներն իրենց երախտագիտությունն են հայտնել Հայաստանի խորհրդարանին նախորդ տարվա մարտի 24-ին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի կողմից միաձայն ընդունված՝  Օսմանյան Թուրքիայում հույների ցեղասպանությունը դատապարտող հայտարարության կապակցությամբ:
