 Մեծ Բրիտանիայի բնակչության կողմից Եվրամիությունից երկրի դուրս գալը պաշտպանելը կարող Է հանգեցնել տնտեսական անկման եւ 520-ից մինչեւ 820 հազար աշխատատեղերի փակման: Այդ մասին մայիսի 23-ին հայտարարել Է Միացյալ Թագավորության ֆինանսների նախարար Ջորջ Օսբոռն ը՝ ներկայացնելով գանձարանի զեկույցը, որում վերլուծվել են Բրյուսելի եւ Լոնդոնի միջեւ գոյություն ունեցող հարաբերությունների դադարեցման հետեւանքները:

Դրա հետ մեկտեղ ֆինանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարն ընդգծել Է, որ տնտեսության մեջ «բրեքզիթ»-ի առաջացրած ամենաբացասական միտումների դեպքում երկրում բնակարանների գները կընկնեն մինչեւ 18 տոկոսով:

«Ուղիղ մեկ ամիս Է մնացել մինչեւ հանրաքվեն: Բրիտանացիները պետք Է իրենց հարց տան՝ մենք կարող ենք արդյոք գիտակցաբար քվեարկել ռեցեսիայի օգտին»,-ասել Է Օսբոռնը:

ԵՄ-ին Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հետագա անդամակցության ճակատագրի շուրջ հանրաքվեն նշանակված Է հունիսի 23-ին, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
