Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի առաջնորդողից մի հատված.

«Եթե չլիներ Ռուաստանը, և եթե Թուրքիան ներքաշվեր Ղարաբաղյան պատերազմում, ապա Հայաստանը կկործանվեր: Վերջին օրերին տարբեր ձևակերպումներով այս միտքն ավելի հաճախ է հնչում Հայաստանի շատ որոշակի ընդդիմադիր ուժերի ներկայացուցիչների շուրթերից: Սա այն միտքն է, որը ռուսական քարոզչության ու քաղաքական-փորձագիտական շրջանակներից հնչում էր ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին ու դրանից հետո: Այս միտքը հնչում էր` արդարացնելու համար ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին Հայաստանի նկատմամբ ռուսական դավաճանությունը:
Ռուսական շրջանակների ու հայ ընդդիմադիրների նկարագրած այդ սարսափազդու սցենարը, իհարկե, առնվազն գոյության իրավունք ունի: Սակայն իրավիճակը, մեղմ ասած, այնքան պարզունակ չէ, որքան ներկայացվում է այդ քարոզչական-մանիպուլյատիվ հայտարարություններում: Պարզունակ է, սակայն, այն մոտիվացիան, որով հայ ընդդիմադիրների մի մասը փորձ է անում վերադառնալ «ռուսական գիծ»` օգտագործելով այդ` սովետառուսական քարոզչական սպառնալիքը:

Ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո Հայաստանի իշխանությունը որոշակի քայլեր է կատարել եթե ոչ՝ ընդդեմ Ռուսաստանի, ապա՝ Հայաստանի շահերից բխող, որոնք չեն համապատասխանում ռուս-ադրբեջանական շահերին: Որքան հեռու կգնա իշխանությունն այդ քայլերով, այս պահին դժվար է ասել: Բացառված չէ, որ նույն իշխանությունն այդ քայլերն արել է անհրաժեշտ պահին «նահանջելու» և դա Ռուսաստանին որպես հավատարմություն ներկայացնելու համար:

Սակայն մինչև այդ առաջ է ընկել ընդդիմության ռուսական հատվածը:

Նրանք չեն հասկացել, որ ապրիլյան պատերազմը փոխել է գրեթե ամեն ինչ, հուսանք` նաև ու առաջին հերթին՝ Հայաստանում իշխանության ձևավորման մեխանիզմը: Նրանք, որ հայտարարությունների մակարդակում պայքարում են արդար ընտրությունների համար, իրականում ցանկանում են ընտրվել ոչ թե՝ Հայաստանի հասարակության, այլ՝ Կրեմլի կողմից:
Բայց նրանք չեն հասկացել նաև, որ ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո Կրեմլն այլևս չի «մասնակցելու» Հայաստանի ընտրություններին»,–գրում է թերթը։
