Սեւանա լճի մակարդակը մոտենում է 1962 թվականի նիշին

Սեւանա լճի մակարդակը 2016 թվականի մայիսի 23-ի դրությամբ ծովի մակերեւույթից գտնվել է 1900 մետր 61 սանտիմետր բարձրության վրա, որը 14 սանտիմետրով բարձր է նախորդ տարվա նույն օրվա նիշից:
Ինչպես տեղեկացրին Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետարանի աշխատակազմի գյուղատնտեսության եւ բնապահպանության վարչությունից, Սեւանա լճի մակարդակը հետզհետե մոտենում է 1962 թվականի նիշին, երբ այն գտնվել է ծովի մակերեւույթից 1900 մետր 80 սանտիմետր բարձրության վրա: Նույն աղբյուրի հաղորդմամբ՝ Սեւանը 1961 թվականին ծովի մակերեւույթից գտնվել է 1902 մետր բարձրության վրա, իսկ դրան հաջորդած տարում լիճն իջել է ավելի քան 1 մետր 20 սանտիմետրով:
Լճի մակարդակի անկումը շարունակվել է դրան հաջորդած բոլոր տարիների ընթացքում՝ մինչեւ 1980-ական թվականները՝ Արփա-Սեւան թունելային ջրատարի շահագործումը:
«Սեւանա լճի մակարդակի հերթական անկման փուլը սկսվել է 1990-ական թվականներից՝ Հայաստանի տնտեսական շրջափակման եւ էներգետիկ ճգնաժամի տարիներին եւ շարունակվել մինչեւ 2003 թվականը: Անցած 13 տարում Սեւանը շարունակաբար բարձրացել է ավելի քան 3,5 մետրով: Այժմ Արփա-Սեւան թունելային ջրատարով օրական 1 միլիոն 115 հազար խորանարդ մետր ջուր է տեղափոխվում Սեւան, լիճ թափվող գետերը եւս ավելացրել են իրենց ելքերը, դրանց էլ գումարվում են առատ տեղումները: Այնպես որ, կան նախադրյալներ, որ մինչեւ Սեւանից ոռոգման նպատակով իրականացվող ջրբացթողումները Սեւանի մակարդ ակը հավասարվի 1962 թվականի նիշին»,-հավաստեց Գեղարքունիքիմարզպետարանի աշխատակազմի գյուղատնտեսության եւ բնապահպանության վարչության գլխավոր մասնագետ ՄարտինՊետրոսյանը:
Արփա-Սեւան թունելային ջրատարով այս տարի Սեւանա լիճ է տեղափոխվել 58 միլիոն խորանարդ մետր ջուր: Եվս 11 միլիոն խորանարդ մետր ջուր մուտք է եղել ստորերկրյա հոսքի շնորհիվ:
