Հայաստանում Ավստրալիայի դեսպանը ԼՂ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանն այլընտրանք չի տեսնում

ՀՀ ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արտակ Զաքարյանը մայիսի 24-ին ընդունել է ՀՀ-ում Ավստրալիայի նորանշանակ դեսպան Փիթեր Թեշին, ով Հայաստանում է գտնվում հավատարմագրերը հանձնելու կապակցությամբ: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի աշխատակազմից:
Ողջունելով հյուրին` Արտակ Զաքարյանը կարեւորել է երկու երկրների միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերությունների զարգացումը, խոսել Հայաստանի եւ Ավստրալիայի խորհրդարաններում գործող բարեկամության խմբերի աշխատանքի մասին: Այս համատեքստում երկուստեք կարեւորել են պատգամավորական բարեկամության խմբերի ծավալած ակտիվ եւ արդյունավետ գործունեության, ինչպես նաեւ արտաքին հանձնաժողովների մակարդակով համագործակցության զարգացման անհրաժեշտությունը:
Անդրադառնալով մի շարք ոլորտներում համագործակցությանը՝ Արտակ Զաքարյանը նշել է, որ երկու պետություններն արդեն իսկ ունեն հաստատված առեւտրատնտեսական կապեր, ինչը հիմք է ոլորտում հարաբերություններն ավելի ակտիվ զարգացնելու համար:
Խոսելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման գործընթացի մասին՝ Արտակ Զաքարյանն իր երախտագիտությունն է հայտնել Ավստրալիայի Նոր Հարավային Ուելս նահանգի օրենսդիր մարմնին՝ 2009թ. մարտին Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման համար: Նշվել է, որ ճանաչումը քայլ է՝ մարդկության դեմ նոր հանցագործությունների կանխարգելման համար: Հանձնաժողովի նախագահը կարեւորել է նաեւ ՄԱԿ-ի շրջանակներում ԼՂ խնդրի վերաբերյալ Ավստրալիայի Միության հավասարակշռված դիրքորոշումը, նաեւ՝ ցեղասպանությունների դատապարտման գործում Ավստրալիայի կողմից մի շարք բանաձևերում որպես համահեղինակ հանդես գալու հանգամանքը:
Անդրադառնալով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնախնդրին՝ Արտակ Զաքարյանը խոսել է հարցի կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացից: Հանձնաժողովի նախագահը կարեւորել է Ավստրալիայի Նոր Հարավային Ուելս նահանգի օրենսդիր մարմնի կողմից 2012-ի հոկտեմբերի 25-ին ընդունած որոշումը, ըստ որի՝ արձանագրվել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության անկախության եւ նրա հայ բնակչության ինքնորոշման իրավունքի ճանաչումը: Նշվել է, որ ԼՂՀ միջազգային ճանաչումը լավագույն լուծումն է խաղաղ եւ քաղաքական բանակցությունների համար:
Նորանշանակ դեսպան Փիթեր Թեշը, եւս կարեւորելով խորհրդարանական հարաբերությունների խորացումը, պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել նպաստելու երկկողմ կապերի զարգացմանը: Դեսպանը նաեւ կարեւորել է տնտեսական հարաբերությունների զարգացումը: Խոսելով ԼՂ հիմնախնդրից՝ Փիթեր Թեշը նշել է, որ իր երկիրը հակամարտության լուծումը տեսնում է խաղաղ ճանապարհով` ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ձեւաչափում:
