ԵԱՀԿ-ն դատապարտել է Թուրքիայում պատգամավորների անձեռնմխելիության վերացման մասին սահմանադրական փոփոխության ընդունումը

 ԵԱՀԿ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի նախագահ Իլկա Կանևրան և ԵԱՀԿ ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների ու մարդու իրավունքների գրասենյակի տնօրեն Մայքլ Ջորջ Լինքը մտահոգություն են հայտնել Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանում ընդունված սահմանադրական փոփոխության առաջարկի առնչությամբ, որը նախատեսում է վերացնել այն պատգամավորների անձեռնմխելիությունը, ում գործով հետաքննություն է անցկացնում դատարանը: Այս մասին  տեղեկացրին ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակից:

Հայտարարության մեջ Կանևրան ընդգծել է, որ պատգամավորների անձեռնմխելիությունը հանդիսանում է որպես ազատ գործելու երաշխիք, մինչդեռ դրա վերացումը ռիսկի տակ է դնում Թուրքիայում իշխանությունների տարանջատումը` վնասելով երկրի խորհրդարանական կյանքի բազմակարծությանը: «Թուրքիան ԵԱՀԿ 56 երկրների հետ պարտավորվել է աջակցել քաղաքական բազմակարծությանը և տրամադրել քաղաքական կուսակցություններին ու կազմակերպություններին անհրաժեշտ օրենսդրական երաշխիքներ` թույլ տալով մրցել միմյանց դեմ օրենքի և իշխանությունների առաջ հավասարության սկզբունքի հ իման վրա: Մենք թուրքական իշխանություններին հորդորում ենք տեր կանգնել այս հանձնառությանը»,- նշել է Լինքը:

Թուրքիայի ազգային մեծ ժողովում մայիսի 20-ին քվեարկության միջոցով ընդունվել է սահմանադրական փոփոխության առաջարկը, որովնախատեսվում է անձեռնմխելիությունից զրկել այն պատգամավորներին, ում գործով դատական մարմինների կողմից հետաքննություն էանցկացվում: Այդպիսով, թուրքական իշխանությունները նախատեսում են վերացնել ընդդիմադիր կուսակցությունների շուրջ 100 պատգամավորի անձեռնմխելիությունը:
