2018 թվականից հետո «Ռոսկոսմոս»-ը պայմանագրեր չի կնքի NASA-ի եւ Եվրոպական տիեզերական գործակալության հետ՝ տիեզերագնացներին Միջազգային տիեզերակայան (ՄՏԿ) հասցնելու շուրջ:
Պետական կորպորացիայի գլխավոր տնօրենի տեղական Սերգեյ Սավելեւի խոսքով, գործող պայմանագրերի ընդլայնման կամ երկարաձգման մասին խոսելը դեռեւս վաղ է:
Ըստ «Ինտերֆաքս»-ի, NASA-ի տնօրենի տեղակալ Ուիլյամ Գերսթենմայերն իր հերթին հայտարարել է, որ ամերիկյան գործակալությունը նույնպես չի ծրագրում 2018 թվականից հետո Ռուսաստանի հետ նոր պայմանագիր կնքել, քանի որ տիեզերագնացները կարող են ամերիկյան եւ ռուսական տիեզերանավերով տիեզերակայան ուղեւորվել փոխադարձ հաշվարկների համաձայն:
Նա հիշեցրել է, որ ներկայում ԱՄՆ-ում երկու ընկերություններ տիեզերանավեր են կառուցում՝ տիեզերագնացներին Միջազգային տիեզերակայան հասցնելու համար:
