«Քարդաշյանների գերդաստանը» գրքի հեղինակ Յան Ալպերինը վստահեցնում է, որ հոլիվուդյան ստուդիաներից մեկը մտադիր է այդ ընտանիքի մասին ֆիլմ նկարահանել:
«Նրանք ուզում են, որ ֆիլմում նկարահանվի Քարդաշյանների ամբողջ ընտանիքը: Ըստ ստուդիայի կատարած հետազոտությունների՝ Քարդաշյանների ընտանիքը կարող է դառնալ հեռուստաշոուի պատմության մեջ ամենաեկամտաբեր նախագիծը, որը ֆիլմի է վերածվել»,- պարզաբանում է գրողը:
Նշում են, որ Sex And The City հեռուստաշոուն համարվում է պատմության մեջ ամենաեկամտաբեր շոուն, որի հիման վրա լիամետրաժ կինոժապավեն են նկարահանել. վերջինը հեղինակներին 500 մլն դոլարի եկամուտ է բերել:
