Արեւային մարտկոցներով աշխատող Solar Impulse 2 օդանավը վերսկսել Է շուրջերկրյա թռիչքը

Արեւային մարտկոցներով աշխատող Solar Impulse 2 ինքնաթիռը վերսկսել Է իր շուրջերկրյա թռիչքը, որը ներկայում ընթանում Է ԱՄՆ-ի տարածքի վրայով: Ինչպես հայտնել են նախագծի կազմակերպիչները, թռչող սարքը, որը կառավարում են օդանավորդներ Անդրե Բորշբերը եւ Բերտրան Պիկարը, մեկնել Է Դեյթոն քաղաքի (Օհայոյի նահանգ) օդանավակայանից եւ ուղղություն վերցրել դեպի երկրի հյուսիս-արեւելքում գտնվող Փենսիլվանիայի նահանգի Լիհայ-Վելի օդակայան:
Մայիսի 24-ին կազմակերպիչները հայտնել Էին, որ Դեյթոնից թռիչքը մեկ օրով հետաձգվելու Է շարժական փչովի անգարի օդի ներմղման համակարգի խափանվելու պատճառով:
Ավելի վաղ Բորշբերգը եւ Պիկարը հայտարարել Էին, որ ցանկանում են ուղեւորվել Նյու Յորք, ապա՝ Եվրոպա կամ Հյուսիսային Աֆրիկա, իսկ այնուհետեւ՝ Աբու Դաբի, որտեղ 2015 թվականի մարտի 9-ին սկսվել Էր իրենց ճանապարհորդությունը:
Ճանապարհ ընկնելով Աբու Դաբիից՝ ինքնաթիռն այնուհետեւ վայրԷջք Է կատարել Օմանի, Հնդկաստանի, Մյանմայի եւ Չինաստանի տարածքներում: Անցյալ տարվա ամռանը անբարենպաստ եղանակի պատճառով ինքնաթիռն ստիպված Է եղել արտակարգ վայրԷջք կատարել ճապոնական Նագոյա քաղաքում:
Solar Impulse 2-ն այստեղ Էր գտնվում գրեթե մեկ ամիս՝ սպասելով բարենպաստ եղանակային պայմանների:
Ավելի ուշ ինքնաթիռը Ճապոնիայից մեկնել Է Հավայան կղզիներ. այստեղ նա ժամանել Է անցյալ տարվա հուլիսի 3-ին: Թռչող սարքում այն ժամանակ մարտկոցների վնասվածք Էին հայտնաբերել գերտաքացման պատճառով: Դրանք փոխարինելու համար շատ ժամանակ պահանջվեց, եւ թռիչքի շարունակումը հետաձգվեց մինչեւ 2016 թվականը:
Solar Impulse 2-ը, որը կառուցվել Է Շվեյցարիայում, իրենից ներկայացնում Է իր նախորդի՝ Solar Impulse-ի բարելավված տարբերակը: Նրա թեւերի բացվածքը 72 մետր Է, քաշը՝ մոտավորապես 2,3 տոննա: Ինքնաթիռի վրա տեղակայված են արեւային ուժահավաքիչ մարտկոցներ, որոնցով աշխատում են չորս Էլեկտրաշարժիչներ: Նրա նորմալ արագությունը ժամում մոտավորապես 140 կիլոմետր Է, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
