Բաբաջանյանի արձանը հնաոճ է. Գագիկ Մանասյան

Ավան վարչական շրջանի Բաբաջանյան փողոցի հարակից պուրակում մայիսի 23-ին բացվեց Խորհրդային միության հերոս, ԽՍՀՄ զրահատանկային զորքերի գլխավոր մարշալ Համազասպ Բաբաջանյանի արձանը, որի քանդակագործն է Համլետ Մատինյանը, իսկ ճարտարապետը` Միքայել Միսակյանը: Մամուլում, սոցիալական ցանցերում արձանը միանշանակ չընդունվեց: Past.am-ի հետ զրույցում մշակութաբան Գագիկ Մանասյանը նշեց՝ Բաբաջանյանի արձանի տեղադրումն արդարացված է այն առումով, որ նա հայ ժողովրդի պանծալի զավակն է և ռազմական գործիչ:
Ըստ մեր զրուցակցի՝ արձանը պատմություն է, բաց դաս, ունի գիտաճանաչողական նշանակություն ապագա սերունդների համար: Գագիկ Մանասյանը նաև մի օրինակ բերեց. «Կինն իր երեխայի հետ քայլում է փողոցում և տեսնում այս կամ այն պատմական դեմքի արձանը, հարցնում է մորը, թե ո՞ւմ արձանն է: Մայրն իր հերթին պատասխանում է, պատմում տվյալ մարդու մասին, այդպիսով, արձանը չի ունենում միայն քարե կերտվածքի նշանակություն, այլ իրեղեն պատմություն է մարդկանց աչքի առաջ, որն իր նշանակությամբ կրթելու, հիշողությունը պահպանելու նշանակություն ունի»:
Պարոն Մանասյանից նաև ճշտեցինք՝ արձանը նրա ճաշակո՞վ է և համապատասխանո՞ւմ է նրա գեղագիտական ընկալումներին: Վերջինս պատասխանեց. «Պետք է նկատեմ, որ գեղագիտական ճաշակի և ընկալումների տեսակետից` արձանը քանդակված է սովետական սոցռեալիզմի օրենքներով, որն այսօր հնաոճ է և ժամանակակից մարդու գեղագիտական ընկալումներից դուրս: Ճիշտ կլիներ` այն լիներ ժամանակակից ոճով, նոր գեղագիտական կոնցեպցիայով: Այժմ ընդունված է շարժման մեջ կամ ֆունկցիոնալ նշանակություն ունեցող արձանների տեղադրումը: Նպատակահարմար կլիներ, որ Բաբաջանյանը ներկայացվեր շարժման մեջ, և մարդիկ հաղորդակից լինեին արվեստի գործին, ասելիք ու նպատակ ունենային: Օրինակ` հենց Երևանում կան նմանատիպ արձաններ` «Նարդի խաղացողը», «Ծաղկավաճառ Կարա-Բալան», «Տղամարդիկ», «Սասունցի Դավիթը»»:
