Եվրոպայի առաջնություն. Հայաստանը երկու ոսկի, մեկ արծաթ և մեկ բրոնզ նվաճեց

Շվեդիայի Լանդսկրոնա քաղաքում ավարտվեց մինչև 15 և մինչև 17 տարեկան աղջիկների ու պատանիների Եվրոպայի առաջնության մրցումային նախավերջին օրը:
Մինչև 17 տարեկան պատանիների 94 կգ քաշային կարգում Սարգիս Կիրակոսյանի հաղթանակ տոնեց, ում պարգևատրեց ծանրամարտի Հայաստանի ֆեդերացիայի փոխնախագահ Վահան Խեչանյանը: Սարգիսը երկամարտի 305 (138+167) կգ արդյունքով դարձավ Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն: Ընդ որում՝ հրում վարժության երրորդ մոտեցումից հրաժարվեց, քանի որ արդեն ամեն ինչ պարզ էր. Տեղեկացնում է ծանրամարտի ֆեդերացիայի կայքը:
Արծաթե ու բրոնզե մեդալների երկամարտի 300 և 296 կիլոգրամներով համապատասխանաբար արժանացան ռուս Դմիտրի Չերնիշովն ու իտալացի Մատեո Կուրկուրուտոն:
Այս քաշային կարգում մեդալի լուրջ հավակնորդ էր համարվում նաև Հայաստանի երկրորդ ներկայացուցիչը՝ Գրիգոր Գրիգորյանը, սակայն նա պոկում վարժության ժամանակ վնասեց ձեռքը և դուրս մնաց հետագա պայքարից:
Մինչև 15 տարեկան աղջիկների +69 կգ քաշային կարգում չեմպիոնի կոչման է արժանացել Աիդա Մանուկյանը: Իսկ ահա Սոնա Պողոսյանը երկամարտի 206 կգ արդյունքով արծաթե մեդալի է արժանացել մինչև 17 տարեկան աղջիկների 69 կգ քաշային կարգում:
Մեկ բրոնզե մեդալի էլ արժանացել է մինչև 17 տարեկան պատանիների 85 կգ քաշային կարգում հանդես եկած Արսեն Մարտիրոսյանը:
