Գյումրիում նշվեց Հայաստանի առաջին հանրապետության օրը

Հայաստանի առաջին հանրապետության օրը մայիսի 28-ին նշվեց Գյումրիում: Գյումրու քաղաքային իշխանության ներկայացուցիչները` քաղաքապետ Սամվել Բալասանյանի գլխավորությամբ, ծաղիկներ դրեցին զորավար Անդրանիկ Օզանյանի և հայ ազգային ազատագրական պայքարի գործիչների արձաններին: Քաղաքապետը, շնորհավորելով հայ ժողովրդին առաջին հանրապետության օրվա կապացությամբ, մ իաժամանակ ընդգծեց օրվա կարևորությունը նորանկախ պետության ստեղծման ու կայացման գործում: «Ի սրտե շնորհավորում եմ Հանրապետության տոնի կապակցությամբ: Պատմական մի իրողություն, որը միավորելով մեր ժողովրդին, ևս մեկ անգամ խոսում է նրա ազատատենչ ոգու և հայրենանվեր լինելու մասին: Շարունակվող ցեղասպանության և զանգվածային տեղահանումների դժվարին պայմաններում՝ հայ ազգը կարողացավ աննկուն կամքի շնորհիվ հաղթանակներ տոնել Բաշ Ապարանում, Ղարաքիլիսայում և Սարդարապատում: Ստեղծվելով պատմական բարդ ու դժվարին պայմաններում` Հայաստանի Առաջին Հա նրապետությանը վիճակված էր գոյատևել կարճ ժամանակահատված: Այդ ընթացքում քաղված դասերը գալիք սերունդների համար պետք է ուղեկից դառնային պահպանելու մեր ազգային արժեքներն ու ինքնությունը, գնահատելու ձեռքբերումներն ու հաղթանակները: Հայ ժողովուրդի միասնական կամքի ու տոկունության շնորհիվ ձեռք բերված պետականության պահպանումը այսօր էլ պետք է լինի բոլորիս ամենասուրբ ու նվիրական պարտականությունը, քանզի յուրաքանչյուրս պատասխանատու ենք մեր հողի ու երկրի ճակատագրի համար: Եվս մեկ անգամ շնորհավորելով Հանրապետության տոնի առթիվ՝ մաղթում եմ ՀայոÖ աշխարհին և ազատատենչ հայ ժողովրդին խաղաղություն« բարեկեցություն և նոր հաղթանակներ` հայոց անկախ պետականության ամրապնդման ճանապարհին»,- ասաց քաղաքապետը:
Հայաստանի առաջին հանրապետության օրվա առիթով միջոցառում էր կազմակերպվել Գյումրու «Վարդանանց» հրապարակում, որին մասնակցեցին քաղաքապետարանի ենթակայության համույթները:
Սարդարապատում, Բաշ-Ապարանում եւ Ղարաքիլիսայում տեղի ունեցած ճակատամարտերը հիմք դրեցին հայոց նոր պետականության ստեղծմանը: Այդ հերոսամարտերի արդյունքում հայկական զորքերը կարողացան փրկել Հայաստանը լիակատար ոչնչացումից: 1918 թվականի մայիսի 28-ին Թիֆլիսում Անդրկովկասյան Ժողովրդավարական Դաշնային Հանրապետության փլուզումից հետո Հայկական ազգային խորհրդի կողմից հռչակվեց Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը:Առաջին Հանրապետությունը հիմնադրվեց հայ ժողովրդի համար ծանր ժամանակաշրջանում ու խորհրդանշում է հայի համախմբման ու պայքարի ոգին: Առաջի ն Հանրապետության պայքարի ոգին նաև այսօր է հայ զինվորի մեջ:
