Կահիրե բարձրզգայուն հատուկ սարքավորումներ են հասցվել, որոնք նախատեսված են մայիսի 19-ին Միջերկրական ծովում կործանված Egypt Air ավիաընկերության ինքնաթիռի ինքնագրիչները գտնելու համար: Այդ մասին մայիսի 29-ին հայտնել են Եգիպտոսի քաղաքացիական ավիացիայի նախարարությունում:

ՄԵՆԱ եգիպտական լրատվական գործակալությունը հայտնել է, որ սեւ արկղերից ստացվող ազդանշանները որսալու ընդունակ սարքավորումները Կահիրե են տեղափոխվել եվրոպական մի քանի պետություններից, գլխավորապես Ֆրանսիայից, եւ արդեն ուղարկվել են ինքնաթիռի կործանման վայր: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ նախարարության աղբյուրները նշել են, որ A320-ի ինքնագրիչները գտնելու այս փորձը «վերջինը կլինի, քանի որ օդանավի ինքնագրիչների մարտկոցների լիցքը գործողության սահմանափակ ժամկետ ունի»:

Մինչ այդ, ըստ Egypt Air-ի տեղեկատվության, կործանված ինքնաթիռում գտնվող ֆրանսիացի եւ իրաքցի ուղեւորների ազգականներից արդեն ԴՆԹ-ի նմուշներ են վերցվել հայտնաբերված աճյունների գենետիկական փորձաքննություն անցկացնելու համար:

A320-ի ինքնագրիչները մինչ օրս չեն գտնվել: Դրանց որոնումները լուրջ տեխնիկական հանդերձում են պահանջում, քանի որ, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, դրանք գտնվում են 3 հազար մետրը գերազանցող խորության վրա:

EgyptAir ավիաընկերության մարդատար ինքնաթիռը, որը կատարում էր Փարիզ- Կահիրե MS804 չվերթը, ռադարներից անհետացել է մայիսի 19-ի վաղ առավոտյան Միջերկրական ծովի վրա Եգիպտոսի օդային տարածքում: Օդանավում եղել են 66 ուղեւորներ եւ անձնակազմի անդամներ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
