Բրիտանացի դերասանուհի Էմիլյա Քլարքը, որը «Գահերի» խաղը» ֆիլմում խաղացել Է Դեյեներիս Թարգարիենի դերը, պատրաստ Է 007 գործակալի մասին հաջորդ ֆիլմում հանդես գալ Ջեյմս Բոնդի գլխավոր դերում: Այդ մասին նա պատմել Է The Daily Star-ի հետ կայացած զրույցում:

«Ես չիրականացած բազմաթիվ երազանքներ ունեմ: Կցանկանայի մարմնավորել Ջեյմս Բոնդին: Եվ իմ գործընկեր եմ տեսնում միայն Լեոնարդո դի Կապրիոյին»,-իր մտորումների մասին պատմել Է 29-ամյա դերասանուհին:

Առաջին անգամ կանանց բոնդապատում նկարահանելու հնարավորության մասին մայիսին հայտնել Է դերասանուհի Ջիլիան Անդերսոնը: Նա նշել Է, որ իրեն դուրս Է գալիս այդ գաղափարը:

Մայիսի 28-ին ռեժիսոր Սեմ Մենդեսը, որը նկարահանել Է Բոնդի մասին վերջին երկու ժապավենները՝ «007. «Սքայֆոլ կոորդինատները» եւ «Սպեկտր» կինոնկարները, հայտարարել Է, որ շարունակությունը չի նկարահանելու:

Բոնդի դերի թեկնածության շուրջ վեճերն սկսվել են 2015 թվականին, «Սպեկտր»-ի թողարկվելուց անմիջապես հետո: Փորձագետները կասկածում Էին, որ Դենիել Քրեյգը սերիա կվերադառնա, իսկ 2016 թվականի մայիսի կեսերին ԶԼՄ-ներն իմացան, որ դերասանը հրաժարվել Է դերից: Ենթադրվում Է, որ նրան կփոխարինեն Իդրիս Էլբան, Թոմ Հիդլսթոնը, Թոմ Հարդին կամ Էյդան Թյոռները:

«Գահերի խաղը» ֆիլմում Դեյեներիսի դերը Էմիլյա Քլարքի առաջին խոշոր դերն Է: Նա նաեւ Սառա Քոննոր Է խաղացել «Թերմինատոր. Գենեզիս» մարտաֆիլմում:
