Վրաստանի նախկին վարչապետ Բիձինա Իվանիշվիլին բաց նամակ Է գրել, որում պնդում Է, թե երկրի իշխանությունները հնարավոր ամեն բան անում են Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունները նորմալացնելու համար, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Վրաց-ռուսական հարաբերություններն սկսել են աստիճանաբար կարգավորվել 2012 թվականին Վրաստանում տեղի ունեցած իշխանափոխությունից հետո: Այն ժամանակվանից ռուսական շուկայում կրկին վրացական արտադրանք Է հայտնվել: Այսօր Ռուսաստանը Վրաստանի առաջատար առեւտրական գործընկերներից մեկն Է:

«Արեւմտամետ քաղաքականությունը չի նշանակում, որ մենք հարգանքով չենք վերաբերվելու մեր հարեւաններին եւ հաշվի չենք առնելու նրանց շահերը: Ընդհակառակը, մեր ռազմավարությունը բարեկամական հարաբերությունների հաստատում Է նախատեսում հարեւան եւ ոչ միայն հարեւան երկրների հետ»,-գրված Է Իվանիշվիլիի բաց նամակում:

«Մենք ամեն ինչ կանենք, որպեսզի, առանց Վրաստանի շահերը վնասելու, նորմալացնենք հարաբերությունները Ռուսաստանի հետ: Բացի այդ, մենք կխորացնենք կապերը կարեւոր գործընկերների ու բարեկամների՝ Թուրքիայի, Ադրբեջանի, Հայաստանի հետ»,- գրում Է նա:

Դրա հետ մեկտեղ նախկին վարչապետը նշել Է, որ Վրաստանի համար արտաքին քաղաքականությունը եւ կողմնորոշիչը միանշանակ եվրատլանտյան ուղղությունն Է:

«Մենք պետք Է լավ հասկանանք, որ Եվրամիությանը Վրաստանի անդամակցությունը մոտակա օրակարգի հարց չԷ: Նաեւ մեզ հարկ կլինի որոշակի ժամանակ սպասել, մինչեւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ դառնանք, քանի որ դա բարդ աշխարհաքաղաքական գործընթացի բաղադրիչն Է, եւ դա կախված չԷ միայն մեր ցանկությունից ու պատրաստվածությունից»,-ասված Է նամակում, հաղորդել Է Sputnik-ը:
