Եվրամիության ղեկավարները, արագ ու լիակատար ինտեգրացման գաղափարով տարված, չեն նկատել, որ Եվրոպայի սովորական քաղաքացիները համամիտ չեն այդ եվրախանդավառությանը: Այդ մասին մայիսի 30-ին Լյուքսեմբուրգում հայտարարել Է Եվրոպայի խորհրդի նախագահ Դոնալդ Տուսկը:
«Հիասթափվելով ապագայի մեծ տեսլականի հարցում՝ նրանք պահանջում են, որ մենք ներկայիս իրողությունից ավելի լավ գլուխ հանենք, քան մինչ օրս դա արել ենք: Այսօր եվրասկեպտիցիզմը կամ նույնիսկ եվրահոռետեսությունը դարձել են այդ պատրանքների այլընտրանքը: Եվ ավելի հաճախ ու ավելի բարձր են հնչում նրանց ձայները, ովքեր կասկածի տակ են դնում միացյալ Եվրոպայի բուն սկզբունքը»,- խոստովանել Է Եվրախորհրդի ղեկավարը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Եվրոպայի ժողովրդական կուսակցության 40-ամյակին նվիրված հանդիպմանը:
«Եվրոպայում շրջում Է տրոհման ուրվականը, եւ դաշնության (Եվրամիության որպես դաշնության – խմբ.) տեսլականն, ըստ իս, դրա լավագույն պատասխանը չԷ»,- ասել Է Տուսկը:
Որպես Եվրոպայի խորհրդի նախագահ նա ցանկանում Է «անկեղծ ու բացահայտ բանավեճ» սկսել «այս հարցի շուրջը», հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
