Ռուսաստանը միայն կշահի ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ համագործակցությունից, կարծիք Է հայտնել վաշինքի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ենս Ստոլտենբերգը:

«ՆԱՏՕ-ն Է հանդես գալիս Ռուսաստանի հետ վստահելի հարաբերություններ հաստատելու ուղերձով, մենք պատրաստ ենք երկխոսություն վարել, մենք ջանում ենք հարաբերություններ կառուցել, ավելի ու ավելի ենք միտված Ռուսաստանի հետ համագործակցելուն, քանզի հավատում ենք, որ դա համապատասխանում Է ոչ միայն մեր, այլեւ Ռուսաստանի շահերին»,-ասել Է նա՝ մայիսի 31-ին ելույթ ունենալով Վարշավայի համալսարանում:

«Իմ ուղերձը երկիմաստ չԷ. ՆԱՏՕ-ն Ռուսաստանի հետ առճակատում չի փնտրում: Մենք նոր «սառը պատերազմ» չենք ցանկանում: Մենք չենք ցանկանում սպառազինությունների նոր մրցավազք»,-ընդգծել Է Ստոլտենբերգը:

«Ռուսաստանը մեր ամենամեծ հարեւանն Է ու ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ-ի անդամը եւ դեռ կարող Է կառուցողական դեր խաղալ համաշխարհային գործերում»,-նշել Է նա՝ հիշեցնելով Ռուսաստանի մասնակցությունը իրանական միջուկային ծրագրի եւ Սիրիայում քիմիական զինանոցի ոչնչացման հետ կապված իրադրության կարգավորմանը: 

Սակայն, ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի խոսքով՝ դաշինքին, անհրաժեշտ Է, առնվազն, ավելի կանխատեսելի հարաբերություններ Ռուսաստանի հետ:

«ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամները կողմնակից են Ռուսաստանի հետ երկխոսությանը եւ ռազմական հարցերում թափանցիկությանը»,-հավելել Է Ստոլտենբերգը, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
