««Իսկ ի՞նչ է դիվերսիոն գործողությունը, ի՞նչ չափանիշներով է ինքը որակում դա որպես դիվերսիոն գործողություն». ԼՂՀ նախագահի մամողի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը մեզ հետ զրույցում այսպիսի հարց ուղղեց ԼՂ պաշտպանության բանակի նախկին հրամանատար, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Սամվել Բաբայանին, որը քառօրյա պատերազմը գնահատել էր որպես հակառակորդի պատժիչ դիվերսիոն գործողություն։ Ըստ Դավիթ Բաբայանի՝ հիմա այնպիսի իրավիճակ է, որ բոլորս պետք է առավելագույնն անենք, որ չշահարկվի այս հարցը. «Վերջապես մենք տվել ենք անդառնալի կորուստներ, և եթե ինչ-որ մեկը, կապ չունի՝ ով է, ես անձնական խնդիր որևէ մեկի հետ չունեմ, կյանքում որևէ մեկին անձնապես չեմ վիրավորել, նման հայտարարություն է անում, պետք է հարցնեք այդ մարդուն՝ ի՞նչ չափորոշիչներով եք այս կամ այն գործողությունը որակում պատերազմ կամ ահաբեկչություն։ Եթե այստեղ հանդես են գալիս որպես քաղաքական գործիչ որոշ հայտեր ներկայացնելու՝ սա մեկ բան է, բայց եթե խոսում ենք որպես փորձագետ ու փորձում տալ նկարագիրը, թե ինչ է եղել, ինչ գործողություն է եղել, այստեղ պետք է ավելի հստակ չափանիշները որոշվեն։ եթե թշնամին կորցրել է 30-ից ավելի տանկ, դա պատերազմ չի՞, դիվերսիոն գործողությո՞ւն է։ Եթե նա կորցրել է Գրադ կայանք, երբ որ ТОС-1 համակարգն է կորցրել երբ տվել է 400-2.5 հազար զինվորի զոհ, դա դիվերսիոն գործողությո՞ւն է»»,–գրում է թերթը։
