Դեմոկրատիան ամեն ժողովրդի և ամեն հասարակության բան չէ, քանի որ ենթադրում է մարդկանց անմիջական և պատասխանատու մասնակցություն երկրի կառավարմանը: Ավանդական հասարակությունները սովոր են նրան, որ իրե՛նց են կառավարում, ո՛չ թե իրենք են կառավարում: Դա ավելի հաճելի է, երբ քեզ են կառավարում, քանի որ այդ դեպքում դու չես պատասխանատվություն կրում, այլ կառավարողը /պետությունը/: Դեմոկրատացող հասարակությունը հայտվում է անպատասխանատվության միջավայրում՝ պետությունն այլևս պատասխանատու չէ, մարդիկ էլ՝ դեռ պատասխանատու չեն:

Եվրոպական քաղաքակրությունն այսօր հիմնված է կոմֆորտի գաղափարի վրա: Եվրոպան պատերազմներից հոգնած և խաղաղ կյանքի մասին երազող հասարակությունների միություն է: Այսօր Եվրոպայի մահմեդականացումը նշանակում է Նոր Միջնադար՝ վաղը: Մինչ Եվրոպայի մաս դառնալ ձգտելը պետք է հասկանալ, թե ինչպես է այդ Նոր Միջնադարն անդրադառնալու Եվրոպական միության յուրաքանչյուր երկրի վրա:

Զարգացումը շատ թանկ երևույթ է, և ամեն հասարակություն չէ, որ կարող է այն իրեն թույլ տալ: Երկիրը զարգացնելու համար նախ պետք է փոխադարձ և կայուն կապեր ստեղծել հասարակական համակարգերի միջև՝ ընտանիքի, կրթության, գիտության, տնտեսության, անվտանգության, առողջապահության և այլն: Եթե այդ փոխադարձ և կայուն կապերը չկան, երկիրը չի կարող զարգանալ, քանի որ համակարգերից մեկի զարգացումը չի ազդի մյուս համակարգերի զարգացման վրա: Հայաստանում, օրինակ, այդ կապերը չկան: Հետևաբար, զարգացման հեռանկարի փոխարեն մենք ունենք գոյատևման օրակարգ:
