Շվեյցարիայում բացվեց աշխարհի ամենաերկար թունելը

Հունիսի 1-ին Շվեյցարիայում բացվել Է Գոտարդի 57 կիլոմետրանոց երկաթուղային թունելը, որն ամենաերկար եւ ամենախոր թունելն Է աշխարհում: Թունելի շինարարության համար պահանջվել են գրեթե 20 տարի եւ ավելի քան 12 միլիարդ դոլար: Դրա մշտական շահագործումը կսկսվի դեկտեմբերին:
Շվեյցարիայի իշխանություններն ասում են, որ թունելը հեղաշրջում կկատարի Եվրոպայում բեռների փոխադրման բնագավառում: Այն ապրանքները, որոնք այժմ ամեն տարի փոխադրվում են միլիոնավոր բեռնատարներով, կտեղափոխվեն երկաթուղով:
Տեխնիկայի այս հրաշքն ավելի արագ եւ հեշտ հաղորդակցություն կապահովի հարավային եւ հյուսիսային Եվրոպայի միջեւ: Թունելը կարագացնի ապրանքների եւ մարդկանց տեղափոխությունը եւ կնվազեցնի շրջակա միջավայրի աղտոտումն ավտոմոբիլներից արտանետվող գազերով:
Շվեյցարիայի իշխանությունները կանխատեսում են, որ օրական 260 ապրանքատար շարժակազմեր կկարողանան անցնել թունելով: Տարեկան 20 միլիոն ուղեւորներ կկարողանան օգտվել նոր մայրուղուց: Ցյուրիխից Մյունխեն ճանապարհի ժամանակը կկրճատվի մինչեւ 2 ժամ 50 րոպե:
Մինչ օրս աշխարհի ամենաերկար երկաթուղային թունելը համարվում Էր Ճապոնիայի Սեյկանը՝ 53,9 կիլոմետր երկարությամբ՝ 23,3 կիլոմետր երկարությամբ ստորջրյա հատվածով:
Գոտարդի թունելը երկարությամբ առաջ Է անցել նաեւ Լա Մանշի տակով անցող թունելից, որի երկարությունը 50,5 կիլոմետր Է:
Այն ոչ միայն աշխարհի ամենաերկար թունելն Է, այլեւ ամենախորն Է գոյություն ունեցող երկաթուղային թունելներից. մակերեւույթից նրան բաժանում Է 2300 մետր: Առանց օդափոխության հզոր համակարգի այնտեղ ջերմաստիճանը կհասներ 40 աստիճանի:
Շվեյցարիայում թունելի բացման հանդիսավոր արարողությանը շվեյցարացի պաշտոնատար անձանց հետ մեկտեղ ներկա կլինեն Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելը եւ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդը:
