Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւի աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Ռամիզ Մեհտիեւը այդ երկրի նախկին ղեկավարներ Աբդուռահման Վեզիրովին, Այազ Մութալիբովին դավաճան, իսկ Աբուլֆաս Էլչիբեյին` անգիտակ է անվանել:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին Մեհտիեւը բարձրաձայնել է «Ուժեղ ադրբեջանական պետությունը որպես համաշխարհայնացման պայմաններում ազգային գաղափարի անդրադարձում» վերնագրով հոդվածում, որը հրապարակել է պաշտոնական «ԱզերԹԱջ» լրատվական գործակալությունը:

Ադրբեջանում Հեյդար Ալիեւի անձի պաշտամունքի ճարտարապետ Ռամիզ Մեհտիեւը հոդվածում անդրադարձել է ադրբեջանական պետականության պահպանման գործում Հեյդար Ալիեւի դերին, դատապարտել նրա նախորդներին` երկրում խորագույն քաղաքական ճգնաժամ ստեղծելու համար:

Մեհտիեւը անթիվ անհամար գովասանական խոսքեր չի խնայել ՍՍՀՄ պետանվտանգության նախկին պաշտոնյայի հասցեին` հռչակելով նրան անկախ Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության հիմնադիր, որի շնորհիվ է, ըստ նրա, իրականացվել ադրբեջանցիների ազգային անկախության գաղափարը` անվանելով նրան «համաշխարհային նշանակության քաղաքական գործիչ»:

Հոդվածում Մեհտիեւը գրում է, որ Հեյդար Ալիեւից առաջ Ադրբեջանի բոլոր ղեկավարները երկիրը տարել են վերջնական քայքայման եւ տարածաշրջանների բաժանման:

«Նման վիճակ էր ստեղծվել երկրում Ադրբեջանի նախկին ղեկավարներ Աբուռահման Վեզիրովի, Այազ Մութալիբովի քաղաքական անգործունակության, որոնք դավաճանել են ազգային շահերին, չեն կարողացել զգալ ժամանակի զարկերակը, գիտակցել աշխարհում տեղի ունեցող  աշխարհաքաղաքական փոփոխությունները եւ այդ ֆոնին գնահատել ադրբեջանական ժողովրդի ազգային ինքնագիտակցության վերածննդի արժեքականությունը, ինչպես նաեւ Աբուլֆաս Էլչիբեյի ոչ կոմպետենտության եւ անցյալում մնացած պանթուրանական կոնցեպտին նրա անհեռատես նվիրվածության արդյունքում», -գրում է ավագ եւ կրտսեր Ալիեւներին անսահման նվիրված եւ այդ պաշտոնը 20 տարուց ավելի զբաղեցնող Ռամիզ Մեհտիեւը:
