Էրդողանը սպառնացել է Թուրքիա վերադառնալուց հետո որոշել Գերմանիայի դեմ ձեռնարկելիք քայլերը

Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանն առաջին մեկնաբանությունն է արել Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին բանաձևի ընդունման հետ կապված: Վկայակոչելով թուրքական «Անադոլու» հգործակալությունը, Էրդողանը Քենյայում հրավիրված մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ ասել է. «Գերմանիայի խորհրդարանի ընդունած որոշումը լրջորեն կվնասի Թուրքիա-Գերմանիա հարաբերություններին: Վերադառնալուց հետո այս ամենը կքննարկենք և կորոշենք, թե ինչ քայլ պետք է ձեռնարկել, ինչից հետո էլ կձեռնարկենք այն քայլերը, որոնք պետք են»:
Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագն ընդունեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման բանաձևը, որն ունի «1915 թ. հայերի և մյուս քրիստոնյա փոքրամասնությունների ցեղասպանության հիշատակի և ոգեկոչման մասին» անվանումը:
Բանաձևն ընդունվեց ունենալով ընդամենը մեկ դեմ, մեկ ձեռնպահ ձայն: Ելույթ ունեցողները միաձայն ընդգծում էին անցյալի հետ առերեսման անհրաժեշտությունը, նաև` Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի հաշտեցման գործընթացին նպաստելու մղումները:
Բունդեսթագում բարձրաձայնվել է Օսմանյան Թուրքիայի ոճրագործության մասին` նշելով, որ Գերմանիայի քայլը ոչ թե հայց է և մեղադրանք, այլ խոնարհում զոհերի հիշատակի առջև:
