Օրերս ԱՄՆ-ում տեղի է ունեցել հարսանեկան ոչ ավանդական արարողություն: 46-ամյա հարսն ու 42-ամյա փեսան միայն անծանոթ մարդկանց համար կարող էին սովորական թվալ, իսկ իրականում դեռևս 2008-ին փեսան դարձել էր համաշխարհային մամուլի գլխավոր հերոս` որպես առաջին հղի տղամարդ: Թոմասը նախկինում կրում էր Թրեյսի անունը, կին էր, ով, սակայն, հրաժարվել էր կանացի հագուստ կրելուց և ստիպում էր բոլորին, որ իրեն որպես տղամարդ ընկալեն: Ավելի ուշ վիրահատությունների միջոցով Թրեյսիին հաջողվել էր տղամարդ դառնալ`միաժամանակ պահպանելով սեռական օրգանները, և երեք անգամ ծննդաբերել էր: Նա այդ քայլին գնացել էր, որովհետև ամուսնացել էր երկու երեխաների մայրիկի հետ, ով այլևս չէր կարողանում երեխա ունենալ, ինչից ելնելով` Թոմասը հղիանալու որոշում էր կայացրել: Արդյունքում` Թոմասը երեք անգամ ծննդաբերել էր, սակայն երեխաները չէին կարողացել պահպանել նրանց ամուսնությունը: 9 տարվա ամուսնությունից հետո զույգը բաժանվել էր:
Ավելի ուշ Թոմասը հանդիպեց իր ներկայիս սիրուն` Էմբերին, ում հետ կրկին ամուսնանալու ցանկություն ունեցավ:
