Գյումրիում բացվել է քառօրյա պատերազմի հերոս Մերուժան Ստեփանյանի հիշատակը հավերժացնող ցայտաղբյուր և հուշատախտակ

Գյումրու Մուշ թաղամասում, որտեղ ապրել էր քառօրյա պատերազմի հերոս, ՀՀ  «Մարտական խաչ» 1-ին աստիճանի շքանշանակիր, ավագ լեյտենանտ Մերուժան Արթուրի Ստեփանյանը, երեկ բացվել է ցայտաղբյուր և հուշատախտակ: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք Շիրակի մարզպետարանի պաշտոնական կայքից: 

Շիրակի թեմի հոգևորականի կողմից սկզբում հնչել է  տերունական աղոթք, այնուհետև ցայտաղբյուրի բացման պատիվն ընձեռվել է Մերուժանի ընկերներին, որոնց նախաձեռնությամբ էլ այն կյանքի էր կոչվել:  Բացման արարողության ընթացքում հնչել են  Գյումրու թիվ 23 հիմնական դպրոցի սաների հայրենասիրական ելույթները:

Ավագ լեյտենանտ Ստեփանյան Մերուժանը ծնվել է 1993 թվականին: Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան ռազմական ինստիտուտն ավարտելուց հետո պայմանագրային զինվորական ծառայության էր անցել Թալիշի զորամասում: 

20-ամյա ժամկետային զինծառայող Հրայր Բաղդասարյանը  Panorama.am-ին պատմել է. «Հարձակվեցին ծանր զենքերով: Ապրիլի 1-ի լույս 2-ի գիշերը տեսասարքի էկրանին դեպի մեր դիրքերը շարժվող մարդիկ երևացին:  Դիրքավորվեցինք, սկսեցինք կրակել, նրանք փախան՝ մարտադաշտում թողնելով երեք դիակ: Հաջորդ օրն ավելի մեծ խմբով հարձակվեցին: Ականանետներով կրակում էին, մինչև վերջ պայքարել ենք:  Դիրքում 9 հոգով էինք, 4-ը՝ դասակի հրամանատար, ավագ-լեյտենանտ Մերուժան Ստեփանյանը, զինծառայողներ Ռաֆիկ Հակոբյանը, Աղասի Ասատրյանը, Վիկտոր Յուզիխովիչը զոհվեցին: Ես ծանր վիրավորվեցի, չէի կարողանում քայլել, գլորվելով իջա ձորը ու սկսեցի սողալով առաջանալ, հարևան դիրքի մոտ  մի զինվոր ու սպա օգնության հասան…»:
