Սակայն այն ամուսնությունը, որում տղամարդն ու կինը նույն տարում են ծնվել, նաեւ իր թերություններն ունի: Ամենանշանակալիցներից մեկն այն փաստն է, որ երիտասարդ զույգը, մինչեւ ամուսնությունը իրար չափազանց լավ ճանաչելով, կարող է շատ արագ կորցնել հետաքրքրությունը երկրորդ կեսի հանդեպ: Այդ խնդրի ֆոնին տարեկից զույգերի մոտ անընդհատ վեճեր են առաջանում կենցաղային թեմաներով մանրուքների վերաբերյալ: Ընդ որում ի հայտ եկած վեճում յուրաքանչյուրն իրենը կպնդի, քանի որ զուգընկերներից մեկն ավելի տարիքով չէ, որ փոխզիջման գնա:
Այնուամենայնիվ, անհնար է զուգընկերների տարիքով որոշել, թե որքան երկարատեւ եւ երջանիկ կլինի նրանց ամուսնությունը, չէ որ փոխըմբռնման, վստահության եւ սիրո առկայությունը կարող է երջանիկ դարձնել տարիքային ցանկացած տարբերությամբ ամուսնությունը:
