Ավստրալիայի արտգործնախարարը կարծում է, որ փախստականներին ավելի լավ է պահել կղզիների վրա

Ավստրիայի արտգործնախարար Սեբաստիան Կուրցը հայտարարել է, որ փախստականները, որոնք Եվրամիության երկրներում ապաստան են փնտրում, ավելի լավ է պահել կղզիների վրա, քան ապահովել նրանց ուղղակի մուտքը մայրցամաք:
Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է РИА Новости գործակալությունը, ավստրիական Die Presse թերթին տված հարցազրույցում Կուրցը ենթադրել է, որ ավելի լավ է հետևել «ավստրալական օրինակին», որպեսզի խոչընդոտեն ներգաղթյալների վտանգավոր ճանապարհորդությանը՝ դեպի Եվրոպա:
Համաձայն Ավստրալիայի լայնորեն քննադատվող քաղաքականության, փախստականները, որոնք փորձում են նավակներով հասնել երկիր, հետ են վերադարձվում կամ ուղարկվում են Նոր Գվինեայի Նաուրու ճամբար, որտեղ նրանց անորոշ ժամկետով պահում են, մինչ մշակվի նրանց դիմումները՝ փախստականի կարգավիճակ ստանալու համար: Միևնույն ժամանակ, նրանց արգելվում է Ավստրալիա տեղափոխվել, անգամ եթե փախստականի կարգավիճակ են ստանում:
«Ավստրալական մոդելը, իհարկե, ամբողջությամբ չի կարող կրկնօրինակվել, սակայն դրա սկզբունքները կարող են օրինակ լինել Եվրոպայի համար»,-ասել է Կուրը՝ հավելելով, որ հոռետեսորեն է վերաբերվում Թուրքիայի հետ միգրացիոն վերջին համաձայնագրին:
Նախարարը հավելել է, որ ԵՄ-ն պետք է բանաձև ընդունի, համաձայն որի բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր ապօրինի ճանապարհով են հասնում Եվրոպա, պետք է զրկվեն ապաստան խնդրելու իրավունքից:
Եվրոպան Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմից ի վեր ամենամեծ միգրացիոն ճգնաժամն է ապրում: ԵՄ-ի Frontex ծառայության տվյալներով՝ 2015 թվականի ընթացքում Եվրամիություն է ժամանել 1.8 մլն փախստական:
