Մուսուլման փախստականների թիվը, ովքեր դիմում են քրիստոնեական հավատի, աճում է: Այդ մասին են վկայում կնունքների մեծ քանակությունը, որոնք կատարել են եկեղեցիները վերջին ժամանակերում, հայտնում է Guardian պարբերականը:
Ոչ պաշտոնական տվյալներով` շատ մուսուլմաններ, գալով Մերձավոր Արևելքի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի երկրներից, սկսել են ավելի հաճախ այցելել եկեղեցի:
Ինչպես նշում է պարբերականը` այդպիսի փոփոխության պատճառները կարող են լինել նոր կրոնին անկեղծորեն հավատալը, վտանգավոր անցումների ժամանակ օգնության համար քրիստոնյաների շնորհակալությունը: Բացի դրանից՝ շատերը սպասում են, որ նոր հավատի անցնելով՝ կարող են ավելացնել ապաստան ստանալու հնարավորությունները:
Նոր հավատ ընդունած մուսուլմանների շնորհիվ Բեռլինի Սուրբ Երրորդության եկեղեցի այցելուների թիվը վերջին երկու տարվա ընթացքում 150-ից դարձել է 700 մարդ, հայտարարել է քահանա Գոթֆրիդ Մարտենսը:
Ւնչպես նշում է պարբերականը` Ավստրիայի կաթոլիկ եկեղեցին 2016 թվականի առաջին եռամսյակում ընդունել է կնքման առնվազն 300 հայց, որոնց 70%-ը, ենթադրաբար, փախստականներ են: Անգլիայում Լիվերպուլի տաճարը ամեն շաբաթ անցկացնում է հատուկ պարսկերեն պատարագ, որին մասնակցում են 100-140 մարդ, ովքեր գործնականում Իրանից, Աֆղանստանից և Կենտրոնական Ասիայից եկածներ են:
