Մանվել Բադեյանը խոստանում է ամրապնդել Հայաստանի և Քուվեյթի միջև կապերը տարբեր ոլորտներում

 Քուվեյթում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դեսպան նշանակվելը Մանվել Բադեյանի համար անակնկալ չի եղել: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում Մանվել Բադեյանը նշեց, որ այդ մասին ակնարկներ դեռ վաղուց են եղել, սակայն ինքն անձնական տարբեր պատճառներով խուսափել  է նման առաջարկներն ընդունելուց:

Հարցին, թե ինչո՞ւ է որոշվել իրեն հենց Քուվեյթում ՀՀ դեսպան նշանակել, Բադեյանը պատասխանեց, որ Քուվեյթն իր ընտրությունը չէ:  «Այնուամենայնիվ, ես Քուվեյթի մասին բավականաչափ բան գիտեմ, գոնե այն պատճառով, որ եղել եմ Քուվեյթում մի քանի անգամ։ Բարեկամական երկիր է մեզ համար,  սերտ կապեր ունի Հայաստանի հետ։ Ըստ երևույթին՝ նախկին դեսպանը բավականաչափ աշխատանք է տարել Քուվեյթում, մեր հարաբերություններն այդ երկրի հետ բարեկամական են»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Բադեյանը:

Քուվեյթի ղեկավարության հետ վերջին մեկ տարում տարբեր հանդիպումներ եղան, վարչապետը փորձեց բիզնես կապեր հաստատել, վերջերս էլ արդարադատության նախարարն է այնտեղ այցելել։ Հարցին, թե ինքն ի՞նչ առաքելությունիրականացնելու նպատակ է դրել իր առջև այնտեղ, բիզնես ոլորտում կապերի ամրապնդմամբ զբաղվելու՞ է, Մանվել Բադեյանը պատասխանեց.  «Դա իմ պարտականություններից մեկն է, բոլոր ոլորտները՝ դա լինի քաղաքական, տնտեսական, թե մշակութային համագործակցություն, սրանք բոլորը պահանջում են զարգացումներ, և դեսպանի համար մեկ առաքելությունը հենց դա է՝ ամրապնդել կապերը երկու երկրների միջև»։

ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հրամանագրով Մանվել Բադեյանը նշանակվել է Քուվեյթում ՀՀ դեսպան:
