Ազգային ժողովի նիստի մեկնարկին ԱԺ նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանը պատգամավորներին տեղեկացրեց, որ Մանվել Բադեյանը նշանակվել է Քուվեյթում ՀՀ դեսպան:«Հարգելի պատգամավորներ, նախքան նիստի օրակարգին անցնելը, հայտնեմ, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահի հրամանագրով Մանվել Բադեյանը նշանակվել է Քուվեյթում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դեսպան: Շնորհավորում ենք»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Սահակյանը:
Պատգամավորները ծափահարություններով շնորհավորեցին Մանվել Բադեյանին Քուվեյթում ՀՀ դեսպան նշանակվելու կապակցությամբ:
Ընտրական օրենսգրքի 144-րդ հոդվածի 11-րդ մասի համաձայն՝ Ընտրական օրենսգիրքն ուժի մեջ մտնելուց հետո մինչև նոր Ազգային ժողովի ընտրությունն Ազգային ժողովի մեծամասնական ընտրակարգով ընտրված և լիազորությունները վաղաժամկետ դադարած պատգամավորի մանդատը մնում է թափուր: Ուստի՝ ՀՀ ԱԺ պատգամավոր Մանվել Բադեյանի մանդատը կմնա թափուր:
