ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն հունիսի 6-ին ընդունել է Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության Պետական խորհրդի առաջին փոխվարչապետ, Չինաստանի կոմունիստական կուսակցության կենտկոմի քաղբյուրոյի մշտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ Ճան Գաոլիի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը:

Հանրապետության Նախագահը ողջունել է բարձրաստիճան հյուրի և նրա գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը, ընդգծելով, որ ՉԺՀ առաջին փոխվարչապետի այցը Հայաստան, վկայում է հայ-չինական երկկողմ համագործակցության բարձր մակարդակի և այն ամրապնդելու փոխադարձ ցանկության մասին: Նշելով, որ Չինաստանը Հայաստանի կարևոր միջազգային գործընկերներից է, Սերժ Սարգսյանը շեշտել է, որ հայ-չինական բազմադարյա բարեկամական հարաբերությունների հետևողական զարգացումը մեր երկրի արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթություններից է:

Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, զրուցակիցները գոհունակությամբ են փաստել, որ երկու երկրների միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատումից ի վեր հայ-չինական փոխգործակցությունը հետևողականորեն զարգացել և ընդլայնվել է՝ ներառելով քաղաքական, տնտեսական, մշակութային, կրթական և այլ ոլորտներ: ՀՀ Նախագահը և Չինաստանի առաջին փոխվարչապետը նշել են, որ չնայած արտաքին տնտեսական ցնցումներին, վերջին տարի ներին ակտիվ զարգանում է հայ-չինական տնտեսական համագործակցությունը: Համատեղ ծրագրերը, որոնք իրականացվում են արդյունաբերության, էներգետիկայի, գյուղատնտեսության, գիտության, տեխնիկայի և մշակույթի բնագավառներում, նրանց համոզմամբ, կարևոր խթան են երկկողմ հարաբերությունները որակական նոր մակարդակի բարձրացնելու համար:

Չինաստանի առաջին փոխվարչապետը կարևորել ե ԵԱՏՄ-ի հետ առևտրատնտեսական ոլորտում ՉԺՀ համագործակցությունը, նշելով, որ Հայաստանը, որպես ԵԱՏՄ անդամ պետություն կարող է իր ներդրումն ունենալ այդ ուղղությամբ բանակցությունների առաջմղման գործում:

Կողմերը համակարծիք են եղել, որ հայ-չինական հարաբերությունների խորացմանն ու ամրապնդմանը զգալիորեն նպաստում են բարձր մակարդակի փոխայցելությունները, որոնք հատկապես վերջին տարիներին պարբերական բնույթ են կրում: 
Սերժ Սարգսյանը և Ճան Գաոլին գոհունակությամբ են խոսել միջազգային կազմակերպությունների շրջանակներում Հայաստանի և Չինաստանի համագործակցության մասին:

ՀՀ Նախագահը և Չինաստանի առաջին փոխվարչապետը կարևորել են նաև մշակութային կապերի ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող քայլերը, այդ համատեքստում առանձնացնելով չինարենի խորացված ուսուցմամբ դպրոցի կառուցման ծրագիրը: Նրանց համոզմամբ, դպրոցի կառուցումը խոստումնալից ներդրում է երկու երկրների ապագա սերունդների միջև բարեկամության սերտացման գործում:

Հանդիպումից հետո ՀՀ Նախագահի և Չինաստանի Պետական խորհրդի առաջին փոխվարչապետ, Չինաստանի կոմունիստական կուսակցության կենտկոմի քաղբյուրոյի մշտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ Ճան Գաոլիի ներկայությամբ տրվել է «Չինարեն լեզվի խորացված ուսուցմամբ դպրոց Հայաստանում» ծրագրի մեկնարկը:
