Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադը հայտարարել Է, որ երկրում հաստատված զինադադարը թույլ Է տվել դադարեցնել արյունահեղությունը եւ հասնել մի շարք ռազմական հաղթանակների, ներառյալ Պալմիրայի ազատագրումը:
Սիրիայում հրադադարի ռեժիմն ուժի մեջ Է մտել փետրվարի 27-ին: Զինադադարը չի տարածվում Ռուսաստանում եւ մի շարք այլ երկրներում արգելված «Իսլամական պետություն» կազմակերպության, «Ջեբհաթ ան Նուսրա» եւ այլ կազմավորումների վրա, որոնք ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի կողմից ճանաչվել են ահաբեկչական:
«Իրադրությունը երկրում զինադադարից հետո սա Է. մեծավ մասամբ դադարեցված Է արյունահեղությունը, դրա շնորհիվ կնքվել են զինադադարներ, դա թույլ Է տվել ռազմական առումով հասնել մի շարք հաղթանակների, ներառյալ Պալմիրայի ազատագրումը»,- մեջբերում Է անում Sputnik գործակալությունը նոր գումարման խորհրդարանի առջեւ Ասադի ելույթից:
Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետության նախագաի խոսքով՝ երկրի իշխանությունները «Ժնեւ-3» բանակցությունների սկզբում ներկայացրել են փաստաթուղթ՝ երկոսության վարման հիմնական սկզբունքներով: «Բանակցություններն ըստ Էության մինչ օրս այդպես Էլ չեն սկսվել, մենք այս փաստաթղթի ոչ մի պատասխան չենք ստացել բանակցությունների մյուս կողմերից»,- նշել Է Ասադը, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
