Հայաստանը հետևողական ու պատասխանատու գործընկեր է ԱՊՀ-ում և շահագրգռված է պայմանավորվածությունների արդյունավետ իրագործմամբ: Այս մասին հայտարարել է «Ռուս-հայկական համագործակցություն» կազմակերպության նախագահ Յուրի Նավոյանը Մոսկվայի «Պրեզիդենթ-հոթելում» ԱՊՀ երկրների ինստիտուտի 20–ամյակին նվիրված միջազ գային գիտաժողովի բացմանը իր ողջունի խոսքում:
Նա նշել է, որ հաղթահարելով տարբեր փուլեր` ինստիտուտին հաջողվել է կայուն տեղ գրավել ռուսաստանյան գիտա-վերլուծական դաշտում և պահանջված լինել գործնական քաղաքականություն իրականացնող պետական հաստատությունների և քաղաքական կառույցների կողմից:
Ըստ Յուրի Նավոյանի, Հայաստանում և Ղարաբաղում ուշադրությամբ և հարգանքով են վերաբերվում համագործակցության և անվտանգության թեմաներով ԱՊՀ երկրների ինստիտուտի վերլուծություններին ու գնահատականներին, որոնք կայուն կերպով ընդգրկում են նաև ԼՀՂ կայացածության իրողությունը:
Նա բարձր է գնահատել նաև ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Կոնստանտին Զատուլինի դերը 1995 թ. ՌԴ Պետական Դումայի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման գործում, ով իբրև այն ժամանակ Դումայի ԱՊՀ երկրների հարցերով կոմիտեի նախագահ, անմիջական ներդրում ունի Ցեղասպանության ճանաչման որոշման նախագծի իրավական ու քաղաքական համարժեք մշակման հարցում:
«Ներկայումս, երբ տարածաշրջանում հրատապ են անվտանգության խնդիրները, իսկ ինտեգրացիոն գործընթացները արդյունավետության կարիք ունեն, նորովի փոխադարձ օգտակարություն ունի հայ-ռուսական վերլուծական և քաղաքական երկխոսության մակարդակներում միմյանց տեսակետներին ծանոթանալը և դրանք հաշվի առնելը, ուր ԱՊՀ երկրների ինստիտուտը իր ուրույն դերը կարող է ունենալ», - նկատել է հայկական կազմակերպության ղեկավարը:
ԱՊՀ երկրների ինստիտուտի 20–ամյակին նվիրված միջազգային գիտաժողովին մասնակցում էին դիվանագետներ, քաղաքական գործիչներ և քաղաքագետներ ԱՊՀ և Բալթյան երկրներից: Նրանց զեկուցումները վերաբերում էին ՌԴ արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթություններին, հետխորհրդային տարածքում ազգերի և պետությունների ինքնության գործում կրոնի դերին, հայրենակիցների խնդիրներին. հասարակական հարաբերությունների նշանակությանը:
