Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է Կամչատկայի Պետրոպավլովսկի քաղաքապետ Կոնստանտին Սլիշենկոյի հետ: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել է նաև Կամչատկայի մարզում Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության տարածաշրջանային բաժանմունքի նախագահ Արթուր Խաչատրյանը: Այս մասին Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից և հավելել. «Ողջունելով հյուրերին` Տարոն Մարգարյանը բարձր է գնահատել Երևանի և Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության քաղաքների հետ հարաբերությունների ներկա մակարդակը՝ ընդգծելով, որ այս հարցում, անշուշտ, իր կարևոր դերակատարումն ունի երկու ժողովուրդների բարեկամությունն ու տեղերում հայ համայնքների ակտիվ գործունեությունը: Համառոտ ներկայացնելով Երևանի կառավարման հարցում իր մոտեցումները՝ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հատկանշել է, որ բոլոր ծրագրերի հիմքում առաջնահերթությունը մշտապես տրվում է մայրաքաղաքի բնակիչների և հյուրերի համար առավել հարմարավետ ու բարեկարգ քաղաք ունենալուն:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար` Կոնստանտին Սլիշենկոն իր հերթին նկատել է, որ Երևանն իսկապես հարմարավետ ու բարեկարգ քաղաք է, ինչն, իրոք, գնահատելի է: Հանդիպման շրջանակում Կոնստանտին Սլիշենկոն նաև համառոտ ներկայացրել է Պետրոպավլովսկ-Կամչատկայի վերջին տարիների զարգացումներն ու ընդգծել է տեղի հայ համայնքի կարևոր դերակատարումն ու ակտիվ ներգրավվածությունն այդ հարցում»:
