Քերին Լավրովի հետ քննարկել է Ասադի վերջին հայտարարությունները

ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերին ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ քննարկել է Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադի արած վերջին հայտարարությունները: Այդ մասին Պետդեպարտամենտի ղեկավարն ինքը հունիսի 9-ին պատմել է ի պատասխան Սիրիայի առաջնորդի վերջին ելույթը մեկնաբանելու խնդրանքի:
«Ես Լավրովի հետ խոսել եմ այդ մասին: Նա ասաց, որ (քաղաքական) անցումը ուժի մեջ է մնում, եւ Ժնեւի հետ կապված ամեն ինչ դեռեւս ուժի մեջ է մնում, եւ հենց այժմ իրենք շարունակում են զինադադարի իրագործմանն ուղղված ջանքերը,- Աբու Դաբիում գտնվող Քերիի խոսքը մեջբերել է ԱՄՆ-ի քաղաքական գերատեսչությունը:- Եվ մենք դրան հետեւելու ենք առաջիկա օրերին»:
Լրագրողները Պետդեպարտամենտի ղեկավարին խնղրել են մեկնաբանել Ասադի այն խոսքերը, որ նա «ազատագրելու է Սիրիայի յուրաքանչյուր դյույմը»: Այդ մասին նախագահը հայտարարել է հունիսի 7-ին Ժողովրդական խորհրդի պատգամավորներին հղած ուղերձում: «Մենք չենք համաձայնի բանակցություններ վարել Սահմանադրության սկզբունքների խախտմամբ, մենք թույլ չենք տա ահաբեկչությունը հովանավորող պետություններին՝ Սիրիան հրել անդունդ, եւ ահաբեկչության դեմ մեր պայքարը կշարունակենք մինչեւ այն լիովին արմատախիլ անելը», հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
