Գերմանիան, Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցում իր հանցավոր լինելն ընդունելով, որոշակի պարտավորությունների տակ է մտնում: Հայությունն էլ թե համայնքային, թե դիվանագիտական մակարդակով կարող է այդ պարտավորությունը ճիշտ ձևով սահմանել և Գերմանիայից պահանջել բարոյական, քաղաքական, ինչու չէ նաև տնտեսական աջակցություն: Ինչպես հրեաների ողջակիզման դեպքում դա տեղի ունեցավ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Գերմանիայի Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի ղեկավար Անտո Ազնավուրյանը:

«Ինչպես տենում եք, դիվանագաիտական դաշտում լուրջ անելիքներ կան, զգալի աշխատանք կա կատարելու համայնքային մակարդակով: Բունդեսթագում ընդունված բանաձում նշված էր, որ Գերմանիան նյութապես պետք է օժանադակի գիտական, մշակութային, քաղաքական քննարկումներին, որ այստեղ ապրող հայերի ու թուրքերի միջև երկխոսություն լինի, իսկ հասարակության համար էլ իրականում պարզ լինի, թե ինչ է տեղի ունեցել 1915 թվականին: Պետք է ընդգծել, որ այդ քննարկումները պատմաբանների հանձնաժողի հետ որևէ կապ չունեն: Սպասվող քննարկումներն ուղղված են լինելու հասարակությանն իրազեկելուն»,-ասաց Անտո Ազնավուրյանը:

Նրա խոսքով, դրանից բացի, բանաձևում շեշտվեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցի հիշողության ու ոգեկոչման պահը: Այն, որ կառավարությունը պետք է հատուկ ուշադրության առարկա դարձնի այն: Ըստ Անտո Ազնավուրյանի` Գերմանիայի այս քայլը պետք է նպաստի, որ այլ երկրները նույնպես ճանաչեն Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը:

«Շատ երկրներ Գերմանիային դիտարկում էին որպես մեղսակից: Քանի դեռ Գերմանիան չէր ճանաչում Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցը, դա մյուս երկրների համար առիթ էր լռլելու: Այժմ ճանաչեց Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, դա ենթադրում է, որ մյուս երկրները հեշտությամբ կմիանան Գերմանիային»,-ավելացրեց Անտո Ազնավուրյանը: Ինչ վերաբերում է Գերմանիայում թուրքական համայնքի արձագանքին, ապա Անտո Ազնավուրյանը նշեց, որ որոշակի բևեռացում է նկատվում: Նրա խոսքով, թուրքական համայնքը դեմ էր Հայոց ցեղասպանության բանաձևին, սակայն վերջին օրերին, բանաձևի ընդունումից հե տո հնչած Էրդողանի հայտարարությունները թուրքական համայնքի ներսում տրամադրությունները փոխում են: Հատկապես այն, որ Էրդողանն ասել էր, թե արյան քննություն պետք է հանձեն այն թուրք պատգամավորները, ովքեր կողմ են քվեարկել բանաձևին:

«Դա թուրքական համայնքին առիթ է տվել բողոքելու այս երևույթի դեմ, ասելու, որ դրանք գարշելի մեթոդներ են, ընդունելի չեն: Համայնքը բացահայտ դեմ է գնում Էրդողանի հայտարարություններին: Կարող ենք ասել, որ Էրդողանի հայտարարությունները բևեռացնում են թուրքական համայնքը»,-ասաց Անտո Ազնավուրյանը` նշելով, որ Գերմանիայի կառավարությունը զուսպ քայլերով է հակազդում Թուրքիային` չցանկանալով առճակտման գնալ:
