Անկարայից թուրք փաստաբան Մելիհ Աքքուրթը դիմել է Գերմանիայի Սահմանադրական դատարան Բունդեսթագի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձևը չեղյալ համարելու հայցով: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է Deutsche Welle-ի թուրքական ծառայությունը:
Գերմանիայի Սահմանադրական դատարանը, սակայն, կարող է և չընդունել փաստաբանի ներկայացրած դիմումը, քանի որ Գերմանիայի Դաշնային խորհրդարանի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին բանաձևի ընդունման փաստաթուղթը խորհրդարանական որոշում է, այլ ոչ թե օրենք, իսկ Սահմանադրական դատարան դիմումներ կարող են արվել միայն օրենքների հարցով: Մինչև օրս խորհրդարանի որոշումները Սահմանադրական դատարան չեն տարվել:
Փաստաբան Մելիհ Աքքուրթը, նշելով, որ տեղյակ է այս խնդրի մասին, հայտնել է, որ եթե իր դիմումը մերժվի, ապա ինքը կդիմի Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարան:
Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագը հունիսի 2-ին ընդունեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման բանաձևը, որն ունի «1915 և 1916 թվականներին հայերի և մյուս քրիստոնյա փոքրամասնություններիցեղասպանության հիշատակի և ոգեկոչման մասին» անվանումը: Բանաձևն ընդունվեց ունենալով ընդամենը մեկ դեմ, մեկ ձեռնպահ ձայն: Ելույթ ունեցողները միաձայն ընդգծում էին անցյալի հետառերեսման անհրաժեշտությունը, նաև` Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի հաշտեցման գործընթացին նպաստելու մղումները: Բունդեսթագում բարձրաձայնվել է Օսմանյան Թուրքիայի ոճրագործության մասին`նշելով, որ Գերմանիայի քայլը ոչ թե հայց է և մեղադրանք, այլ խոնարհում զոհերի հիշատակի առջև:
