Խիդաշելին Պենտագոնում քննարկել Է Վրաստանի պաշտպանունակության ամրապնդումը

Վրաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Թինաթին Խիդաշելիի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի պաշտպանության դեպարտամենտի քարտուղարի տեղակալ Մայքլ Քարփենթերի միջեւ կայացած հանդիպմանը քննարկվել են համատեղ զորավարժությունների, պաշտպանունակության բարձրացման եւ տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության հարցերը:
«Բնականաբար, երբ ժամանում ես աշխատանքային այցով, գլխավոր խնդիրն այն փաստաթղթերի մանրամասն քննարկումն Է, որոնք վերաբերում են երկու երկրների համագործակցությանը եւ հարաբերություններին: Մեզ հարկավոր Է ռազմավարական գործընկերության շրջանակներում ակտիվացնել բազմաթիվ ուղղություններ: Ուստի, բնականաբար, նման հանդիպումները կարեւոր են Վարշավայի գագաթնաժողովի նախաշեմին»,-Խիդաշելիի խոսքը մեջբերում Է Վրաստանի պաշտպանական գերատեսչության մամուլի ծառայությունը:
Հանդիպմանը նաեւ ներկա Է եղել ԱՄՆ-ի պաշտպանության դեպարտամենտի քարտուղարի՝ Եվրոպայի եւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի քաղաքականության հարցերով տեղակալ Ջեյմս Թաունսենդը:
Պաշտպանության նախարարի խոսքով՝ Վրաստանի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի իշխանություններն ակտիվորեն աշխատում են, որպեսզի երկկողմ ռազմավարական գործընկերությունը լինի հետաքրքիր ու «մշտապես նորոգվող»: Բացի այդ, Խիդաշելին չի բացառել, որ մոտ ապագայում բազմաթիվ նորույթներ կլինեն վրաց-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների ոլորտում:
Վրաստանի պաշտպանությոան նախարարն ԱՄՆ-ում Է գտնվում Եվրոպայի եւ Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի երկրներ շրջագայության շրջանակներում, որը նա սկսել Է հունիսի 1-ին Վարշավայի գագաթնաժողովին պատրաստվելու շրջանակներում:
Նա արդեն հանդիպում Է անցկացրել ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղարի օգնական Վիկտորյա Նուլանդի հետ, ինչպես նաեւ ելույթ Է ունեցել ԱՄՆ-ի Ատլանտյան խորհրդի առջեւ:
Եվրոպայի եւ Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի երկրներ շրջագայությունը Թինաթին Խիդաշելին կավարտի Բրյուսելում ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ երկրների եւ գործընկերների պաշտպանության նախարարների մակարդակով հանդիպմանն իր մասնակցությամբ, որը տեղի կունենա հունիսի 14-15-ին, հաղորդել Է Sputnik-ը:
