ԱՄՆ-ի Պետքարտուղարությունը դեմ է Սուրբ Սոֆիան մզկիթի վերածելու Անկարայի գործողություններին

ԱՄՆ-ի Պետքարտուղարությունը Թուրքիային կոչ է արել հարգել Ստամբուլում Սուրբ Սոֆիա քրիստոնեական տաճարը եւ դեմ է հանդես եկել այն մզկիթի վերածելու Թուրքիայի կառավարության գործողություններին:
Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնում է հունական «Էթնոս» թերթը:
«Միացյալ նահանգները Սուրբ Սոֆիա տաճարը ճանաչում են որպես հատուկ նշանակության հուշարձան: Մենք Թուրքիայի կառավարությանը կոչ ենք անում Սուրբ Սոֆիա տաճարը պահպանել այնպիսի կերպով, որը հարգում է ավանդույթները եւ բարդ պատմությունը», -մամուլի ասուլիսում ի պատասխան թերթի թղթակցի հարցին հայտարարել է պետքարտուղարության մամուլի քարտուղար Մարկ Թոները:
Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի որոշումով մահմեդական Ռամադան ամսվա ընթացքում հունիսի 13-ից Սուրբ Սոֆիայում սկսել են ամեն օր Ղուրան կարդալ (նամազ անել) եւ այդ արարողությունը ցուցադրել թուրքական հանրային TRT հեռուստաալիքով: Միջազգային ԶԼՄ-ները Էրդողանի այդ որոշումը բնութագրել են որպես վրեժ` Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման մասին բանաձեւի ընդունման համար:
Սուրբ Սոֆիան 1934 թվականին Աթաթուրքի հրամանագրով դարձել է թանգարան եւ մտցվել ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի համաշխարհային ժառանգության ցուցակ:
Հունաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը դատապարտել է Ստամբուլում Սուրբ Սոֆիա տաճարում Ռամադանի ընթացքում Ղուրանի ամենօրյա զանգվածային ընթերցումներ կազմակերպելու մասին Թուրքիայի կառավարության որոշումը եւ այն բնութագրել «հետադիմական եւ ֆանատիկոսությանը սահմանակից»:
«Համաշխարհային մշակութային ժառանգության հուշարձանում համառ, ֆանատիկոսության հասնող մուսուլմանական արարողությունը անհասկանալի է եւ հանդիսանում է անհարգալից վերաբերմունքի դրսեւորում ու իրականության հետ կապի բացակայություն», -հայտարարել է Հունաստանի ԱԳՆ-ը:
Հունաստանի ԱԳՆ աղբյուրները հայտարարել են, որ Թուրքիան գլորվել է մեկ դար հետ:
Հունական խոշորագույն «Նոր ժողովրդավարություն» կուսակցությունն այդ առնչությամբ հայտարարել է. «Սուրբ Սոֆիայում Ղուրան ընթերցելու մասին թուրքական կողմի որոշումն այն դարձյալ վերածում է մզկիթի: Դա սադրիչ քայլ է, որը ուղղափառ քրիստոնյաների նկատմամբ անհարգալից վերաբերմունքի ցուցադրություն է»:
Բյուզանդական կայսրության Այա Սոֆիա գլխավոր քրիստոնեական տաճարը եղել է Կոնստանդնուպոլսի պատրիարքի նստավայրը: 1453 թվականին Օսմանցի թուրքերի կողմից Բյուզանդիայի մայրաքաղաքի գրավումից հետո 483 տարի ծառայել է որպես մզկիթ, ներկայումս` թանգարան է: Իր ներկա տեսքով կառուցվել է 532-537 թվականներին Հուստինիանոս I կայսեր նախաձեռնությամբ ճարտարապետներ Իսիդոր Միլեթացու եւ Անթիմիոս Թրալացու կողմից:
