Ֆինլանդիան հնարավոր է համարում ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցության հայտ ներկայացնելը

Ֆինլանդիան կարող է ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցության հայտ ներկայացնել, սակայն դրա համար պահանջվում է տեղի բնակչության լայն աջակցությունը: Նման տեսակետ է արտահայտել երկրի վարչապետ Յուխա Սիպիլյան, ելույթ ունենալով Սեյնյայոկի քաղաքի կուսակցական համագումարում, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
«Եթե մենք մի օր հանգենք նման որոշման, ես կարեւոր եմ համարում, որ հանրաքվե անցկացվի»,- նշել է Սիպիլյան:
«Սա չի նշանակում , որ նրանք ովքեր երկրում որոշում են կայացնում, իրենց պատասխանատվությունը փոխանցում են (ժողովրդին) , սա նշանակում է , որ նրանք հասկանում են , որ նման կարեւոր որոշումը վերաբերում է թե ներկա, թե ապագա սերունդներին»,- ասել է նա:
Վարչապետը շեշտել է , որ Ֆինլանդիան մի երկիր է, որը չի անդամակցում ռազմական դաշինքների, սակայն հնարավոր է համարում ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցության հայտ ներկայացնելը»: «Այս կետը իմ կարծիքով առայսօր մնում է լավ ու գործող դիրքորոշում»,- հավելել է նա:
Մայիսի կեսերին Ֆինլանդիայի նախագահ Սաուլի Նիյնիստեն նույնպես կարծիք էր հայտնել, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ին երկրի հնարավոր անդամակցության հարցը անհրաժեշտ է լուծել համազգային հանրաքվեով: Սակայն նրա խոսքով պետությունը բավարար միջոցներ ունի իր անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար:
ՆԱՏՕ-ին Ֆինլանդիայի անդամակցության մասին բանավեճնաշխուժացել էր Ուկրաինայում ճգնաժամի ֆոնին: ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցելու կողմնակիցների փաստարկները հանգում են նրան , որ դաշինքը կկարողանա պաշտպանել Ֆինլանդիային Ռուսաստանի կողմից ագրեսիայից: Իսկ ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցելու հակառակորդները խոսում են այն մասին, որ դա կարող է հանգեցնել Մոսկվայի հետ հարաբերությունների վատացմանը: Հարցումների տվյալներով 2014-ի վերջին ֆինների 59 տոկոսը դեմ էր ՆԱՏՕ-ին երկրի անդամակցությանը:
