Թուրք իրավապաշտպանների միությունը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Գերմանիային Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու համար

Թուրքիայի Մարդու իրավունքների ասոցիացիայի` Ընդդեմ ռասիզմի և խտրականության հանձնաժողովը նամակ է հղել Ստամբուլում Գերմանիայի գլխավոր հյուպատոսին` շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Գերմանիայի խորհրդարանում հունիսի 2-ին անցկացված պատմական քվեարկության համար, որով Բունդեսթագը ճանաչեց Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը:
Ինչպես փախանցում է The Armenian Weekly-ն` նամակում իրավապաշտպաններն անդրադառնում են նաև թուրքական կառավարության, մամուլի և հասարակության որոշ անդամների կողմից հնչեցրած սպառնալիքներին:
«Որպես Մարդու իրավունքների ասոցիացիայի` Ընդդեմ ռասիզմի և խտրականության հանձնաժողովի` Ստամբուլի մասնաճյուղի անդամներ` ամոթի զգացմունքով ենք լցված` տեսնելով թուրք ազգայնականների, կառավարական պաշտոնյաների կողմից հնչող գրավոր և բանավոր սպառնալիքներն` ուղղված Գերմանիային և գերմանացի խորհրդականներին` պայմանավորված Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու հետ:
«Գերմանիայի խորհրդարանի` հունիսի 2-ին կայացրած որոշումը ցույց է տալիս այն մոտեցումը, որը աշխարհը պետք է ցուցաբերի մարդկության դեմ հանցագործություն կատարած պետությունների նկատմամբ:
Որպես մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպաններ Թուրքիայում` գերմանացի պատգամավորների հասցեին հնչող սպառնալիքները մենք ընկալում ենք որպես ապացույց այն բանի, որ մարդկության դեմ կատարված հանցագործությունը այս երկրում մշտապես կարող է կրկնվել», - ասվում է Գերմանիայի գլխավոր հյուպատոսին ուղղված նամակում:
