«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Երեկ համացանցում մի տեսանյութ տարածվեց, որը ենթադրվում է՝ իրականացվել է ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի առաջին օրը՝ ապրիլի լույս 2-ի գիշերը, ժամը 4-ի սահմաններում: Դրանում երեւում է, թե ինչպես է ԼՂՀ սահմաններին մոտենում հակառակորդի զորքը: Հայ զինվորներն անընդհատ կապ են տալիս, որ հակառակորդը մոտենում է, կրակ բացելու թույլատվություն են հայցում, սակայն պատասխանը լինում է՝ սպասեք: ԼՂՀ դիրքերը պահող զինվորների կողմից լսվում են հայհոյանքներ, թե ինչու չեն թողնում կրակեն, քանի որ հակառակորդը գնալով ավելի է առաջ գալիս:
«Ժողովուրդ»-ը ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի տեղակալ, ՀՀ ՊՆ ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի պետի նախկին տեղակալ, ՊՆ նյութատեխնիկական ապահովման դեպարտամենտի պետ Մովսես Հակոբյանից փորձեց պարզել, թե ինչու զինվորներին չեն թույլատրել կրակել: «Քեզ թվում է, որ այդ հարցին պետք է պատասխանեմ ե՞ս: Կարծում եմ՝ որպեսզի դուք՝ լրագրողներդ, հասարակության մեջ թյուրիմացություն չմտցնեք, պետք է լսեք այն պաշտոնյային, որը որոշում կայացնելու իրավունք ունի: Այսօրվա բանակի հրամանատարը այդ հարցերին պատասխանել է, եւ եթե անհրաժեշտ լինի, նորից կպատասխանի»,- ասաց փոխնախարար Հակոբյանը»:
