«Եվրո 2016». Ուկրաինան պարտվեց Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիային

Եվրո 2016-ում մրցեցին C խմբի երկու անհաջողակները: 

Ուկրաինա-Հյուսիսային  Իռլանդիա խաղն ավարտվել է 0-2 հաշվով հօգուտ հյուսիսիռլանդացիների:

Թիմերը խաղադաշտ էին դուրս եկել հետևյալ մեկնարկային կազմերով.

Ուկրաինա. Անդրեյ Պյատով, Եվգենի Խաչերիդի, Վյաչեսլավ Շևչուկ, Յարոսլավ Ռակիցկի, Արտյոմ Ֆեդետցկի, Տարազ Ստեպանենկո, Սերգեյ Սսիդորչուկ, Եվգենի Կոնոպլյանկա, Անդրեյ Յարմոլենկո, Վիկտոր Կովալենկո, Եվգենի Սելեզնյով:

Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիա . Մայքլ Մակգովերն, Քրեյգ Կատկարտ, Գարեթ Մակոլի, Ջոնի Էվանս, Սթիվեն Դևիս, Կորի Էվանս, Քոնոր Վաշինգթոն, Օլիվեր Նորվուդ, Սթյուրատ Դալաս, Աարոն Հյուզ, Ջեյմի Ուորդ.

Գլխավոր մրցավար` Պավել Կրալովեց:

Ուկրաինա-Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիա հանդիպումը ընտրական  C խմբի ետնապահների պայքարն էր: Ուկրաինայի հավաքականը, առաջին տուրում ցավալի պարտություն կրելով Գերմանիայից, այս հանդիպման ընթացքում սայթաքելու իրավունք չուներ:Նույնը կարելի է ասել նաև հյուսիսիռլանդացիների համար: Անզիջում պայքարը ապահովված էր: Խաղի առաջին 30 րոպեներում խաղադաշտում ծավալվեց հետախուզական ֆուտբոլ և թիմերը ավելի հաջող էին գործում պաշտպանությունում: Առաջին լուրջ վտանգավոր գրոհը տեղի ունեցավ  33-րդ րոպեին: Հ յուսիսային Իռլանդիան, խաղարկելով անկյունայինը, գործը հաս ցրեց վտանգավոր հարվածի: Քրեյգ Կատկարտի գլխով հարվածը  աննշան բարձր ստացվեց: Առաջին խաղակեսում դա եղավ  թերևս միակ վտանգավոր գրոհը:

2-րդ խաղակեսը ընթացավ Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի գրոհների ներքո: 49-րդ րոպեին հյուսիսիռլանդացիները, խաղարկելով ստանդարտ դիրքը, հարվածի դուրս բերեցին Գարեթ Մակոլին․ վերջինս բացեց խաղի հաշիվը: Ուկրաինան պատասխանեց արժանի գրոհով միայն 72-րդ րոպեին՝ Վիկտոր Կովալենկոյի հարվածով,որից հետո գնդակը աննշան բարձր ընթացավ: Ուկրաիան առաջ նետվեց ետ բերելու կորցրածը,սակայն առջևում գործողությունները անատամ էին և անարդյունք: Ուկրաինան առաջ գնաց և բացելով թիկունքը ավելացրած ժամանակի 6-րդ րոպեին՝ բաց թողեց վտանգավոր հակագրոհը:Առաջին հարվածից հետո Անդրե յ Պյատովը փրկեց իր թիմին ,սակայն վրա հասած Նիլ Կագինը ավելացրեց և ձևակերպեց խաղի վերջնահաշիվը: Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիան վստահ հաղթանակ տոնելով մի քանի ժամով հավասարվեց C խմբի առաջատար Լեհաստանին և Գերմանիային:
