Հնդկաստանի ԶՕՈՒ-ում աշխատանքի են ընդունել կործանիչների առաջին կին օդաչուներին

Հնդկաստանում ռազմաօդային ակադեմիայի երեք շրջանավարտ պաշտոնապես ընդունվել է երկրի ՌՕՈՒ-ի շարքերը որպես կործանիչների առաջին կին օդաչուներ, հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստին»:
Ավանի Չատուրվեդին, Մոհանա Սինգհը եւ Բհավանա Կանտհը, որոնք բոլորը 20 տարեկանից մի քիչ անց են, Տելանգանի նահանգի Դունդիգալ քաղաքում ԶՕՈՒ-ի ավարտական զորահանդեսի ընթացքում պաշտոնապես ընդունվել են ՌՕՈՒ-ի սպայական անձնակազմի շարքերը: Միջոցառմանը ներկա է եղել երկրի պաշտպանության նախարար Մանոհար Պարրիկարը:
Մոհանա Սինգհը, որի հայրը եւ պապը ծառայել են ՌՕՈՒ-ում, հայտնել է, որ «միշտ ցանկացել է շարունակել հայրենիքին ծառայելու ազգային ավանդույթը»:
«Եվ կա արդյոք ավելի լավ միջոց, քան դա անել կործանիչի ղեկի առաջ: Ես երազում եմ մասնակցել ապագա ռազմական առաջադրանքներին եւ մարտնչել հայրենիքի համար, երբ դա անհրաժեշտ լինի», — հայտնել է նա լրագրողներին:
Ներկայումս ՌՕՈՒ-ում, տարբեր տվյալների համաձայն, 100-ից 300 կին օդաչու է ծառայում: Բայց մինչ օրս նրանք կարող էին միայն տրանսպորտային ինքնաթիռներ եւ ուղղաթիռներ վարել: Արժե նշել, որ կանանց կողմից կործանիչներ վարելն ընդամենը փորձարկում է: Շաբաթ ՌՕՈՒ-ի շարքերն ընդունված նորելուկները հինգ տարի կծառայեն, ինչի արդյունքում բանակի ղեկավարությունը որոշում կկայացնի ՌՕՈՒ-ի ծառայության մեջ կանանց մասնակցության հնարավոր ընդլայնման մասին:
Տեղի ԶԼՄ-ները նշում են, որ Հնդկաստանում այսօր կանանց առաջվա նման ծառայության չեն ընդունում հետեւակի, զրահատանկային զորքի եւ ՌԾՈՒ-ի նավերի վրա: Սակայն փետրվարին երկրի նախագահ Պրանաբ Կումար Մուկհերջին խոստացել է, որ կանայք կկարողանան ծառայել զորքի բոլոր տեսակների կազմում, իսկ Հնդկաստանի ՌԾՈՒ-ի հրամանատար Ռոբին Ջովանը հայտնել է, որ երկու տարուց կանայք արդեն կկարողանան ծառայել ռազմական նավերի վրա:
