Իրավապահ մարմինների աշխատակիցները կալանավորել են տղամարդու, որը շաբաթ օրը Լաս Վեգասում միլիարդատեր Դոնալդ Թրամփի ելույթի ժամանակ փորձել է զինաթափել ոստիկանին: Այդ մասին ասված է հայտարարության մեջ, որը հրապարակված է քաղաքի ոստիկանական վարչության հատուկ կայքում, հայտնում է TASS-ը:

«Թատրոնում գտնվող տղամարդը, որն ինչպես պարզվել է եղել է 19-ամյա Մայքլ Սենդֆորդը, մոտեցել է այդ միջոցառմանը գնացող Լաս Վեգասի ոստիկանության համազգեստով աշխատակցին: Սենդֆորդը խոսել է ոստիկանության աշխատակցի հետ այն պատրվակով, իբր ցանկանում է ինքնագիր ստանալ: Զրույցի ընթացքում Սենդֆորդը փորձել է զինաթափել ոստիկանին»,- հայտնել են վարչության ներկայացուցիչները:

Օրինախախտն անմիջապես ձերբակալվել է և փոխանցվել ԱՄՆ Գաղտնի ծառայությանը, որի պարտականությունների մեջ է մտնում նախընտրական արշավի առաջատարների պաշտպանությունը` այդ թվում Թրամփի:
