Եվրամիությունից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալը կարող է հանգեցնել դոմինոյի էֆեկտի: Այս մասին Tagesspiegel am Sonntag-ին ասել է Լյուքսեմբուրգի արտգործնախարար Ժան Ասելբորնը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ չի կարելի բացառել, որ brexit-ը (British exit) կհանգեցնի Արեւելյան Եվրոպայում դոմինոյի էֆեկտի: Հարց է առաջանում, թե արդյոք վարչապետ Դեւիդ Քեմերոնի ու Լեհաստանում իշխող «Օրենք եւ արդարություն» կուսակցության առաջնորդ Յարոսլավ Կաչինսկու միջեւ լուռ համաձայնություն չի գործում ԵՄ-ում նրանց երկրների անդամակցության հարցի շուրջ: «Երկուսն էլ կարծես ընդհանուր գործ են անում՝ քննադատական դիրքորոշում ընդունելով ԵՄ-ի հանդեպ»,- ասել է Ասելբորնը: Նրա կարծիքով Քեմերոնը պատմական սխալ է կատարել ՝ թույլ տալով առհասարակ նման հանրաքվեի անցկացում: Անգամ եթե բրիտանացիները կողմ քվեարկեն ԵՄ անդամակցության պահպանմանը, Եվրամիության նկատմամբ բացասական վերաբերմունքի խնդիրը չի լուծվի:
