Ռուսաստանի հյուսիսային մայրաքաղաք Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի մասնակցությամբ հունիսի 20-ին տեղի կունենա Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահներ Սերժ Սարգսյանի և Իլհամ Ալիևի հանդիպումը, որը երկրորդն է Արցախում ապիրլի սկզբին Ադրբեջանի սանձազերծած ռազմական գործողություններից հետո: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, նախքան եռակողմ հանդիպումն ակնկալվում է, որ Վլադիմիր Պուտինն առանձնազրույցներ կունենա Սերժ Սարգսյանի և Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ:

Հանդիպմանն իր մասնակցության մասին հայտարարել է ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում միջնորդական առաքելություն իրականացնող ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ԱՄՆ համանախագահ Ջեյմս Ուորլիքը: «Մենք հույս ունենք, որ կողմերը կամփոփեն ԵԱՀԿ-ի միջադեպերի հետաքննության մեխանիզմի իրականացման մասին պայմանավորվածության արդյունքները և կվերսկսեն համակողմանի խաղաղ համաձայնագրի շուրջ բանակցությունները»,- նշել է նա: Ակնկալվում է նաև Ռուսաստանը և Ֆրանսիան ներկայացնող համանախագահների մասնակցությունը: 

Ապրիլի սկզբին Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի դեմ սանձազերծած լայնածավալ ագրեսիայից և քառօրյա պատերազմիցհետո Վիեննայում մայիսի 16-ին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն առաջին անգամ հանդիպելէ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ` մասնակցելով ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ ող երկրների արտաքինգործերի նախարարների նախաձեռնությամբ և ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերիի, ՌԴ արտգործնախարար ՍերգեյԼավրովի, Ֆրանսիայի եվրոպական հարցերով պետքարտուղար Արլեմ Դեզիրի նախաձեռնած քննարկմանը: Արծարծվել ենԼՂ հակամարտության գոտում ապրիլի սկզբին զինադադարի կոպիտ խախտման հետևանքով ստեղծված լարվածիրավիճակը և դրանից դուրս գալու ուղիները: Համանախագահող երկրների ներկայացուցիչները պնդել են 1994թ.զինադադարի և 1995թ. զինադադարի ամրապնդման մասին համաձայնագրերի անշեղ իրագործմանանհրաժեշտությունը: Համաձայնություն է ձեռք բերվել քայլեր ձեռնարկելու դրանց իրականացման մշտադիտարկման և միջադեպերի հետաքննության մեխանիզմի ներդրման, ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահիանձնական ներկայացուցչի թիմի կարողությունների ավելացման, հակամարտության կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացի հնարավոր վերսկսման ուղղությամբ:
