Քաբուլում առնվազն 14 մարդ Է զոհվել, եւս ինը՝ վիրավորվել մահապարտի կողմից միկրոավտոբուսի պայթեցման հետեւանքով, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
Բոլոր զոհվածները եւ վիրավորվածների մեծ մասը Նեպալի քաղաքացիներ են, որոնք աշխատում Էին մասնավոր պահնորդական ընկերությունում, գրում Է «Ասոշիեյթեդ պրես» գործակալությունը:
Հարձակման պատասխանատվությունն ստանձնել Է «Թալիբան» շարժումը, հայտարարելով, որ գրոհն ուղղված Էր Աֆղանստանում «ագրեսիայի ուժերի դեմ»:
Պայթյունը տեղի Է ունեցել տեղական ժամանակով առավոտյան ժամը մոտ 6-ին Քաբուլը Ջալալաբադին՝ Պակիստանին սահմանակցող Նանգարհար արեւելյան նահանգի վարչական կենտրոնին միացնող ճանապարհի մերձակայքում:
«Թալիբան»-ի զինյալների գրոհները հաճախացել են 2014 թվականի վերջին Աֆղանստանից ՆԱՏՕ-ի ուժերի հիմնական զորակազմի դուրսբերումից հետո:
Անցած տարվա հոկտեմբերին Բարաք Օբաման հրաժարվել Է մինչեւ իր նախագահության ժամկետի ավարտը (2017 թվական) Աֆղանստանից բոլոր զորքերը դուրս բերելու պլանից, ինչը նրա նախընտրական խոստումներից մեկն Է:
Այն ժամանակ նա նշել Էր, որ Աֆղանստանում ամերիկյան զորքերի ներկայությունը դեռեւս անհրաժեշտ Է ինչպես ԱՄՆ-ի, այնպես Էլ բուն Աֆղանստանի անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար:
