«Արդարադատության ակադեմիայի ռեկտորի պաշտոնի թեկնածուները երեքն են. Սերգեյ Առաքելյանը ՀՔԾ պետ Վահրամ Շահինյանի խորհրդականն է, նաև դասավանդում է ԵՊՀ-ում, իրավագիտության դոկտոր է։ Նա հարուստ կենսագրություն և գիտելիքներ ունի, սակայն բացարձակապես չունի վարչական աշխատանքի փորձ, ողջ կյանքում եղել է կատարող։ Մյուս թեկնածուն՝ Սարգիս Թորոսյանը, աշխատում է ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի իրավաբանական վարչությունում, որի ղեկավարն արդարադատության նախկին փոխնախարար Գրիգոր Մուրադյանն է։ Նա համարվում է Աժ աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Հրայր Թովմասյանի և Գրիգոր Մուրադյանի մարդը։ Ի դեպ, նա հնարավոր էնշանակվի կառավարության աշխատակազմի պետաիրավական վարչության պետ. այդ պաշտոնը թափոտ է մնացել Արտակ Ասատրյանի՝ արդարադատության նախարարի տեղակալ նշանակվելուց հետո։ Մրցույթին մասնակցելու համար դիմել է նաև ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազության իրավական ապահովման և Եվրաինտեգրման բաժնի նախկին պետ Թամարա Շաքարյանը։ Այս բաժինը կառուցվածքային փոփոխությունների հետևանքով վերացվեց։
Թեև լուրեր են պտտվում, որ Գևորգ Կոստանյանը Թամար Շաքարյանին ազատել է ոչ թե կառուցվածքային բարեփոխման, այլ ավտոմեքենան սխալ կայանելու համար։ Շաքարյանն այժմ դասավանդում է։ Նրա՝ մրցույթում անցնելու շանսերը շատ բարձր չեն գնահատվում։ Առավել հավանական թեկնածու է համարվում Սերգեյ ԱռաքԵլյււ՚նը։ Ասում են՝ Սարգիս Թորոսյանի մասնակցությունը մրցույթին կշիռ, թեժ պայքարի իմաստ հաղորդելու և հանրությանը ներկայանալու նպատակ ունի։ Նշենք, որ Արդարադատության ակադեմիայի ռեկտորի պաշտոնը թափուր է մնացել Ռուբեն Մելիքյանի՝ ԼՂՀ օմբուդսմեն նշանակվելուց հետո։ Մրցույթը կայանալու է հունիսի 28-ին։ Մինչ առաջադրումը շրջանառվում էին այլ անուններ ևս, օրինակ՝ ԵՊՀ իրավաբանության ֆակուլտետի դեկան Գագիկ Ղազինյանի որդու՝ ԵՊՀ Եվրոպական ուսումնասիրությունների կենտրոնի տնօրեն Արթուր Ղազինյանի թեկնածությունը։ Ինչ վերաբերում է վճռաբեկ դատարանի քրեական և զինվորական պալատի նախագահ Դավիթ Ավետիսյանին, ապա նրա՝ մրցույթին չմասնակցելու պատճառը կենսաթոշակային տարիքն է»,–գրում է թերթը։
